FOJAM’s Uprising: Songs of Resistance was a powerful show of raw vulnerability, exquisite talent, sweet empathy and hard hitting truths. Held on the close of Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance and Heroism Day) celebrating resistance through song and story, it was a night that will stand out in our collective minds and hearts.

Featuring a powerful line-up, Uprising invited artists and audiences to remember the Holocaust and celebrate historic and continued resistance to race and hate crimes. Taking place on the land of the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, Uprising was held at Memo Music Hall, St Kilda on Thursday 8th April 2021 to a sold out crowd.
