Please don't buy these vehicles until at least 2025, you will save yourself a lot of headache. It's NOT just the engine failures that people are complaining about, the quality has dropped dramatically on newer Toyotas compared to the older models we are used to.

40 years to build a reputation! Just a few years to destroy it! All for the love of greed! RIP Toyota
  • @ThorosiousD
Looks like the days when you could buy a well built, reliable & durable vehicle from Toyota are over. Sad.
  • @regularguy761
Imagine spending $70K+ for a truck you can’t drive
  • @user-rw7xd7qy3j
Unlike 99% of other YouTube Journalists you are the only honest one. Thank you for being so straightforward and honest.
  • @NeighbaNeighba
Toyota knew of this engine problem long ago. They just hid it from the public.
  • @Mr.Helper.
Holy shit … Toyota is totally losing its reliability reputation
  • @PlugNuster
I really feel bad for everyone that spent $70K and more for a new Tundra. Thank you God for giving me the good sense to keep my 2019 TRD PRO Tundra, love that 5.7 engine.

I'm following from Dubai were we still have the 70 series Land Cruiser and Hilux, they're still reliable and going strong in 2024 except for the Lexus 600 and the Land Cruiser 300 series which are suffering the exact same issues with the V6 twin turbo I'm wondering why Toyota is crewing up their North American market and I feel sorry for all the people whose suffering from Toyota's 2024 models
  • @ronnieam33
There is no debris in the engine, the bearings fail and the damage from the failure causes debris.
  • @jerad4336
    I would buy a 2024 Nissan Titan before buying a 2024 Tundra.
  • @Yunggrippacuz
And yet the fan boys tell everyone the new 4banger fart box tacoma will be as rock solid as the previous gens.
  • @georgerafa5041
Thank you for speaking the truth. I've avoided domestics for a decade now but the Toyota bullshit lately has been unbelievable and so many of my old Toyota channels are just absolute shills about it.
  • @jakejones5991
Keep on Preaching. As a long time Toyota fan all I have to say is these “fanboys” need to hear the truth. Toyota’s quality is now the same as all the other manufacturers, junk.
  • 100% agree. my 2013 Tacoma has 213k no issues. 2011 Sequoia 211k no issues. 1997 Lexus lx 450 254k just replaced original alternator .
  • @SasquatchPNW
For decades they have built upon their reputation and even improved it until the CEO switch. Amazing how fast a company can go the wrong direction.

I feel like I dodged a bullet. I purchased a LX600 in February of 24. Absolutely hated it. The way it rode (especially the ride), handled, the dash layout, seats, etc. In short, it ticked me off every time I drove it. It threw a check engine that cleared after a restart twice, but I didn’t really think anything about it - because everything else annoyed me so bad. Twice to the dealership for squealing brakes was enough. Traded it one month before all of this mess about engines came to light. Jeeze, Toyota needs to get it together because without claim of being the most reliable in the market, well, most of their current products fall short. Just my opinion.
  • @leethomas556
What doesn't pass my sniff test, is that Toyota decided to streamline their build process with the shared chassis to save on cost but now we're seeing all these prices and reduced quality
  • @BA-gn3qb
Toyota engineer: "Let's add more pressure to a V6 with a turbocharger." Toyota exec.: "No. Go for 2 turbos."
  • @Rod-db8tt
I would like to thank the 4 Toyota dealerships in Las Vegas for marking up these 3rd gen Tundra's when they first came out. Since I don't play the mark-up game I purchased a used '21 Tundra from a BMW dealership 😅 Truck is freaking awesome and always comes back code 1!
