    The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a cautionary advisory for the expected Nankai Trough earthquake due to the significant magnitude of the recent earthquake. This advisory is not a prediction of an imminent earthquake, but rather a reminder that the probability of the previously predicted event has increased beyond normal levels, and urges people not to neglect earthquake preparedness. The advisory typically remains in effect for about a week, but does not impose any restrictions on daily life. Due to a earthquake advisory, JR Tokai will reduce the speed of the Tokaido Shinkansen between Mishima and Mikawa-Anjo for one week starting tomorrow. In addition, JR East will implement reduced speed operations west of Hiratsuka (including the Ito Line) and from Otsuki to Chino. The Sunrise Express and Kisei Line limited express trains have been canceled.
