Former Seattle Police Department officer Daniel Auderer has filed a $20 million claim against the city of Seattle.

In the claim, Auderer claims the SPD leaked false information concerning "wrongfully initiated disciplinary proceedings as well as my personal information, including my home addresses." Auderer also claims he was wrongfully terminated by the department, noting the decision was retaliatory due to his union leadership.

Auderer cited personal reputation harm, wrongful termination, and mental pain and suffering under the injury section of his claim. Auderer is seeking $200,000 annually in the aforementioned claim.

you’re not getting twenty million dollars for getting doxxed. you took an innocent life and laughed about it.

Sir, this is what's called a consequence of your own behavior. Not even your former fellow officers are defending you. Before someone says it I don't hate all cops nor do I believe every person who may or may not have committed a crime is guilty or a bad person. However, this man made a mistake of epic proportions and instead of taking accountability and doing everything he could to help that family and make things right, he chose to mock and disrespect his victim. I believe that people usually deserve a second chance at life when they have earned it, but he clearly hasn't. I'm not getting into forgiveness because that's not mine to give.

I do hate cops, but in this instance, what he said and him getting fired does not justify giving him a jail sentence nor awarding him with even a penny for his senseless actions caught on body camera of laughing and saying she was only worth $11,000. In all honesty he deserves never being employed as a law enforcement officer ever again. He should also be ordered to apologize to her family and the community
  • He didn’t need his address set out! But what what he said not cool

I hope he doesn't win a GD DIME, and has to pay legal fees and court costs for the people he is suing. Nobody "damaged his reputation" except HIM. He should be in prison.
