A promise of freedom, near fulfilment. A moment of mythical significance, and this edit really hammered that home.

No matter how many times I watch it, Whitebeard's final words make me bawl my eyes out

I’m 35 and im blessed to be able to go on this journey with my sons (9&10). I used to watch one piece when I was 13 and I couldn’t get into it bc of all the censorship (sanji’s horrible accent and lollipop). I picked it back up when I turned 29 and I’m all caught up…..my childhood would have been so much better if I kept watching. Seeing the joy in my son’s eyes when he saw sabo’s return at dressarosa, watching him cry in sheer agony at the end of marineford…..praying we all reach laugh tale together.

Here's a question: How much can you fall in love with an anime ?

there's nothing out there even comparable to one piece in terms of depth and mystery of the story, i tried to find and anime like it and couldn't even come close, Oda is such a genius for creating this master piece and probably the most hard working manga creator out there

This might end up being the greatest epic of all time! So far I believe it! The Greatest Story EVER TOLD! There is so much Heart and Passion in each character and setting, no topic to hard to tackle, and a message that transcends age, race, origin, and religion. Truly a story that should be told for generations to come. FOR 800 YEARS!

A secret that has been foreshadowed since the very first chapter in the series, the sun god nika, has finally come to fruition, over 1000 chapters later. This is why I love one piece.

This ASMV hits me really hard. It's been the longest journey since 1997 when I decided to start reading this manga.
