自分はギタリストですが、この人は異次元すぎました。 もちろんテクニックもやばいけど、なにより一発でこの人が弾いてるとわかる音やフレーズ、アーム使い、ハーモニクス。 ちょっとおかしいぐらいうまい。

ESP/MIJAPANの学生時代に同級生でした。藤岡さんは学生時代から半端なかったです。 2年生の時、学校のハリウッド研修に行った時の、たしかJazzの授業で先生に呼ばれてみんなの前で弾いていた時の生音の出の良さ、カッティングの出音の凄さ、巧さなど、よく覚えています。 他にも巧い人は居たのですが、イマジネーションというか、創造力でも群を抜いていたと思います。 ギターを弾くことを常に探求していて、本当に心から楽しんでいるんだな～とその頃から感じていました。授業が終わっても、ほとんど毎日ずっと学校に居たイメージですね。 当時「こんな凄えやつ居るんだ…！」と、ギターを辞めようと思ったのを覚えています。 先生になったのは知っていたのですが、BABYMETALで弾くと知って、評価が凄い事になっているのを見て、「やっぱりな」と思い、何か嬉しかったです。自分が感じてきた藤岡さんのギターは世界でも凄いと思われるものなんだと。 ギターの神様になって、天国でもギターと遊んでいるのでしょうね…！ 私が学生の頃大好きだった大倉先生、今はMI JAPANに居ないみたいだけど元気にされているかな～。 授業でメシュガーの曲弾いてたのが懐かしい…

R.I.P Fujioki. This man is a legend/God of guitar riffs. Babymetal and fans were lucky to be graced with your skill and stage presence. Forever missed and never be forgotten. Hands down my favorite guitarist.

藤岡氏のギターは 目をつむっていてもそれが藤岡氏であるとすぐ判るほどにオリジナリティが凄い。

藤岡さんは講師としても超一流、教則本も理論を独自の方法で残された。HR/HMはテクニックの一部でフュージョン、ジャズ、難解なクラシカルな曲と全てを最高のパフォーマンスが出来た唯一無二の天才ギタリストだった。

ギターを弾いているのか、ギターが歌ってんのか… 現世にふらっと立ち寄ったギターの神様の音を聴けるだけでも幸せ

この人のプレイングほんとにかっこいい。鋭いのに滑らかで柔らかい。 伝説になるにはあまりにも早い…。 まだまだこの人の新しいギターを聴きたかった。R.I.P. 藤岡幹大

When I first listened to Babymetal when the girls were still so very young, since Doki Doki Morning I think lol And when I decided to listen to Kami Band for the first time, I fell in love with all of them! But the one that stuck to out to me the most was Fujioka's playing. His style is so unique and I can undertand how he's famous and well known by other fellow musicians in Japan. He was able to make people around the world love his style and performances and create new dreams for aspiring artists! My favorite guitarist in the world. R.I.P. and never be forgotten.

Mikio Fujioka was a mentor, teacher, and friend to many musicians in Japan. When he died, many of his fellow musicians paid their respects, some in music, some in words, some both. Among the comments, following are the tweets from Midori, one of the guitarists of Lovebites, and Akane and Kanami, drummer and guitarist of Bandmaid (from their Twitter accounts, all January 10, 2018, translated from the Japanese): Midori of Lovebites: “Yesterday I was able to say good-bye to you, but I still cannot accept what has happened. [Apparently Midori attended Mikio’s wake or funeral.] I feel so much regret and pain. Although I had the pleasure of meeting you only a few times, Mr. Fujioka, your warm personality was a real help to me after I moved to Tokyo, and I came to like and respect you so much, both your personality and your guitar playing.” Akane of Bandmaid: “A soul-healing super-guitarist who had a beautiful smile and treated me so kindly every time I met him, that was you, Mr. Fujioka. I want to be like you, a wonderful musician full of love. The goals and dreams that Kanami and I told you we have, I promise you we will achieve them. I am so deeply grateful to have met you, Mr. Fujioka. I pray for the happiness of your soul in the world beyond.” Kanami of Bandmaid: "Kind-hearted, cute-smiling Mr. Fujioka, I was able to say a final good-bye to you. [Apparently Kanami, like Midori and probably Akane, attended Mikio's wake or funeral.] I will never forget you. As poor a guitarist as I am, allow me to keep you in my mind and heart while I am playing. Thank you for the greatest music. I pray for the happiness of your soul in the world beyond.”

このビデオには出てないけど、ドームのシンコペで演奏しながらダンスしてた小神様がとってもさまになってて格好良かった。絶対あのカッコよさも誰かが継承していって欲しい。

メタルもギターもサッパリ分からないけど、この方のギターを聴くと惚れ惚れします。
