Yep, agreed. Spent alot of time building but the chain and motor system doesn't work. Roller coaster system is OK.

the chainlift u did wrong u have to flip the gear a certain way i firgued it out

I have just started this. The direction of the snowflake style bits seems to be the main problem for me. I just can’t work it out from the manual.

Thank you for sharing my son was feeling frustrated, and I thought he was overreacting but the instructions on the manual are completely wrong...now I know it's not a matter of misunderstanding it's just all wrong...very disappointing my son really looked forward to this...

Thanks for the video. I've just spent about 50 hours of my life trying to get the same rollercoaster working. The chain pulley tries to drag the tower over, the cars don't go round the loop. The whole thing is utter rubbish. My version is Discovery channel branded bit even the instructions are the same as yours. It's a hateful thing.

I got this from my mom in a thrift store. I don't find it hard at all to follow, and my only complaint is minor. When connecting some pieces together, it requires a lot of dents on your thumbs and mild frustration (specifically when you need to put 2 black pieces together). I'm only on step 16 but I'm having a blast building this and taking my sweet time. Oh! Also, there isn't any indication to what side some of the smaller black pieces go, so I suggest to do trial and error.

Instructions are 💩. But once together and a bit of tweeking of my own it runs smooth as can be my boy's sat and watched this damn thing for hour's. Was just curious if anyone else added their own tweeks like I did. All I found is ppl complaining about it lol.
