Very happy they brought the old commentators back for this.
-
Beautifull boxing and sportsmanship
-
It's sad to see great fighters like Nonito and Roy Jones jr, Pac Man and so on not hanging up their gloves in time, when too far over the top. That said, they love the sport and the success of their prime, so of course the dream of more conquest is strong. It's just so sad to watch icons loose because pushing their age.

Good that Walters is making a comeback - heard he had some rough times after that Loma fight
-
Okay, clock in then💪🏾 great fight!
-
this has been a really good fight.
-
very interesting video, it's breathtaking
-
Beautiful jab by Walters, reminded me of Quartey and that uppercut reminded me of Vernon Forrest. Great fight.
-
Walters was limited, but he was probably one of the physically strongest featherweights of all time and you see what happened to Donaire. He ended up back down at 118.
-
Glad they used the HBO commentary
-
Roy Jones is very knowledgeable as a commentator..
-
donaire is probably my favourite fighter i nearly cried when walters beat him 😂
-
After watching this fight I have even more respect for Lomo. He made Walter's quit
-
Lomachenko beat Walter's to retirement 😱
-
It's crazy that Walters has come out of retirement at 38. His first fight back was February 2023 at 140 then his 2nd fight back in November, he weighed in at 148...winning both fights. I'm curious how far he makes it

I remember seeing this fight with my old man I was probably 8 and knew a little bit of boxing at that point. I really thought donaire was gonna take it even with that Guillermo lost. My dad who’s a boxing freak even till this day told me Walter’s was dangerous back then. Still gives me chills seeing this fight, time also really fly’s

I always enjoy this fight. Nonito was smaller than Walters, and Walters had the style that is worse for him. a pressure fighter. He has disadvantages in size and in style. Anyway, he gave everything, and I think he just had enough and go blow for blow at the end not caring if he got KO. Nonito is really a great fighter, I'm grateful for have witness his career, since the first fight with Vic Darchinyan (with that upset and all time great KO), to his last great fight vs a prime Naoya Inoue. Nonito Donaire, legend of Boxing, The Greatest Sport Ever. God bless Boxing.

This fight showed what Donaire needs to have, a good physique and a good jab.
-
Walters the Axeman was only second to Loma back then
-
he's a good matchup with inoue too bad he quits at early age
