Interesting video. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

1) guard your past 2) face the fear of being alone 3) manage your time wisely 4) celebrate your achievements 5) safeguard your mental health 6) be true to yourself 7) don’t sacrifice your life for someone else 8) prioritize your relationships with friends and family 9) avoid obsessive devotion

As a 60 years old man who broke each and everyone of these rules, I can tell that they are true. Advice for the young: do not be fooled by anything else. Follow these rules by the letter. If it means losing somebody, so be it. They were not worthy.

I once dated a woman who had a dog named Buck. This woman was always telling Buck what to do and how to do it. When I finally ended our relationship, she couldn’t understand why I was doing so. I told her that she needed a man like Buck and that I wasn’t Buck.

Guard you past - Because they are not interested in you so much as in what information they might gather to use against you.

Wisdom comes with maturity. I have learned all these things and am comfortable, content and happy being alone. I often tell people I came into this world without anyone or anything and will leave the same way. You will too.

Excellent information - it borders on tragic how much so many people are willing to sacrifice for so little return and often no return at all, only erosion!

A great video for young men who are not sure of themselves in life, at the same time for young women who trying to find the right man.

This advice is good for both men and women. It seems to be most relevant for young people without children. I would add to number three 'use your time to judiciously on activites that bring you happiness, foster personal growth and satisfy your soul' AND take good care of any children you have created... again ' don't compromise your path for someone elses..' Parents give up their joy, time, health and sometime their very life - for their children. People do this for their town/ kin / families. Stoicism might be relevant for young people who are fooling around... (?).. but it is not the best advice for all people, all through their lives.
