White Bellied Sea Eagle Release Into the Wild

Published 2021-11-24
id you know, the Taronga Wildlife Hospital doesn’t just look after our zoo animals? It also cares for sick and injured wild animals too! 🐨
A magnificent juvenile sea eagle recently came into the hospital after collapsing in Sydney Olympic Park. Taronga’s veterinary team nursed it back to health and re-released it into Newington Nature Reserve at Sydney Olympic Park. 🌳
It was a proud moment for Taronga’s wildlife hospital team to see this beautiful bird returned to the wild, and we would like to thank NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and BirdLife Australia for all their help in rescuing and re-releasing this bird. 🦅
It's with you generous help that we can provide Australian wildlife with the best possible care. You can donate today by visiting: @wildlife-hospitals
