Ingredients:
Chicken Leg pieces - 1 kg
Salt - 1 tsp
Turmeric / Haldi powder - ½ tsp
Tamarind - 1 inch ball
Warm Water - ½ cup
Black Peppercorns - 1 ½ tsp
Cinnamon - 1 ½ inch stick
Cumin / Jeera seeds - 1 tsp
Cloves - 6 to 8
Ginger - 1 ½ inch ( finely cut )
Garlic - 12 medium cloves ( finely cut )
Green Chillies - 4 to 6 medium size ( finely cut )
Sugar - 2 tsp
Coriander / Cilantro leaves - 2 cups ( roughly cut )
Vinegar - 3 tbsp
( If Goan Vinegar is not available, Apple Cider or Palm Vinegar can be used )
Salt - 1 tsp
Cooking Oil - 3 tbsp

Notes: Serve the Chicken Cafreal hot with Bread / Potato Wedges, Lime & Salad
