Misa's blue ice colors in the Minecraft Nether

I built a blue ice highway in the Nether and discovered that the blue ice in Misa's Realistic resource pack provides an interesting color shift as I pass through the various Nether biomes.

YouTube video compression may mess with the blocks that are whizzing by, but it looks a bit like entering hyperspace as the boat accelerates.
