  • "i miss my operation anchorage gauss rifle" so true, brother. So true 😢
  • This is such a funny testing set up. Just a bunch of T-posing naked raiders.
  • @Stolzilla
I’m pretty sure the intended reference with General Chao’s Revenge is a play on Montezuma’s revenge AKA diarrhea. General Chao -> General Tso. Plus it would make sense being sold in a diner.

The limitless weapons don’t quite eliminate reloading, any ammo picked up while the weapon is equipped does need to be loaded in before it can be fired, which is crazy because the implication is that your just jamming way more ammo into the guns than is intended lmao

Everyone should download the mod called, unique uniques, it adds pretty cool skins to these weapons
  • @panzer622
I always thought that "Big Jim" was a reference to the Jim Croce song "You Don’t Mess Around With Jim". Maybe a stretch, but that is what it makes me think of.

"We use hammers because they don't draw blood" "Sir, I believe that Pug-faced Kool-aid fountain gurgling in the corner would beg to differ"
  • UP77, my guess it stands for University Point (where it was developed) 2077 (77 the year it was developed). Just a guess but that's what I've always thought
  • you missed the Zeta Gun, a gamma gun which can be found at the cabot house late in the quest line and has a unique Red projectile effect. you also missed the Acid soaker from the Nuka-Cade

The names of Fallout 4’s unique weapons are mostly pretty lame, but at least you can name them whatever you want. I’m personally a big fan of naming Kellogg’s pistol the “Widowmaker”
  • 14:10 General Chao's Revenge would appear to have it's name based on the concept of "bad Chinese takeout" As it references both the dish General Tsao's Chicken (often mispronounced by customers as General Chow's Chicken) and Montezuma's Revenge (a euphemism for Diarrhea, based on the Disentary that afflicted the Spanish Conquistadors during their 'colonization' of the South American continent.) This would also fit the general slant of the sense of humor in Fallout games.

I'm pretty sure the significance of "Atom's Judgement" being a hammer is that a Judge wields a gavel, which is basically a hammer.
  • You are so close with both Reba and Reba 2 they are literally a reference to the wife and rifle since it's a direct reference to the rifle that is used in tremors 2 (the guy who uses it named it after his wife so it's a direct tie-in) the exterminator affect even is even in reference to tremors since the graboids are bugs of a sort. Reba 2 is extremely effective against the blood worms in nuka-world who are technically a smaller version of the graboids basically at the dirt devil stage of their life cycle

I always name my legendary pick-ups, so I'd like to share a few of my favorites. I Killed 1,000 Super Mutants and All I Got Was This Gun (legendary rad rifle w/ explosive shots) The Probe-You-Later (plasma rifle with double shot) And I took Reba II and made it The Gun Formerly Known as Reba. Still not good but it was early game so I got some miles out of it
  • 76 has a good mix of both older style unique weapons and 4s legendary system. I like that almost all of the named legendary weapons have unique appearances.
  • The 2076 bat could definitely belong to the Red Sox. Just because they haven't won a World Series since 1918 doesn't mean that they hadn't been to one since then in fallout lore. They likely just used that bat while playing in their most recent world series
