c2c is the primary train operating company responsible for providing commuter services from Fenchurch Street and east London to southern Essex and Southend. Here's a brief overview of the Class 357 Electrostar, the operator's main EMU.

𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀

1. c2c operates 74 Class 357s and 6 Class 387s, with the latter being on lease until their new Class 720 Aventras arrive
2. 20% of Class 357 carriages have been adapted to a "metro" layout which opts for a 2+2 layout as opposed to having 3+2 seating
3. The new Class 720 fleet will only have ten cars per set, but will still match the length of the 3-unit 12-car Electrostars while adding 20% more capacity
4. 8 services are typically operated per hour from Fenchurch Street. 4 for Shoeburyness, 2 for Southend Central, and the other 2 for Grays.
5. 2 trains per hour on weekends are diverted to Liverpool Street and also serve Stratford
