China makes a ration for every purpose, and we check out three different kinds in this review. A couple unusual and fascinating foods and an unexpected outcome to what was probably my personal favorite Chinese ration. The Type 11 was actually a real well made and delicious pack of shelf stable food. But did it hold up? There's only one way to find out, along with checking out some cool anti-hypoxia food and a snack pack for airborne troops.

It's my head-canon that Steve understands all languages as long as they're on an MRE.
  • @Pax12345
Last time, Chinese MRE almost killed him, put him in a coma for over a year and still the madman goes back for more...

Steve is the purest form of YouTube that's often lost these days: - Has not changed his winning formula in 8 years. - Has not put in ads, sponsors or patreon. - Hasn't tried to expand beyond doing what he loves in 8 years or chased trends. - Still gets 400-500k views per video despite not changing. Steve is the YouTuber we need in these dark times. Nice.
  • When you see boi got that Chinese PLA in the title you know you best be adding Steve's name to your bedtime prayers tonight right after grandma's name 🙏

Notice that he didn't take a bite of that rice. Smart move. This man learns from experience.

Steve meets rattlesnake on trail, "hey, nice hiss. Lets get you out on a tray".
  • @wootks
When I saw the title and it was a PLA meal I figured Steve was a true madman. When he kept getting “distracted” instead of eating a bite was hilarious. Great video!
  • @TheWolfsnack
The good thing is that with all the preservatives, Steve will be around forever!

Hey dude, very recently there is a 8.600 years old bread that's been discovered in Turkey. My very first reaction was to quote you saying "Let's get this out onto a tray".
  • When Steve says he's having Chinese food tonight, he means this...

Steve i want to let you know how much your videos help me through my days. They really help me not only relax due to your calming narrative but also help me learn so much about history. Ive even started collecting rations because of your videos. Keep up the good work and im glad to be part of the ride.

Love every time he's about to take a bite of the rice, he suddenly remembers something else. Had me cracking up. 😂
  • This man is truly fearless. Thanks for taking one for the team.
  • @SanTM
I love how Steve can speak any language as long as it's in a MRE or ration form
  • @Faxanadu_
I love every single fakeout when you go for that rice
  • It is always a treat to know whatever he ate last time didn't kill him. We love you Steve. You're probably one of the most well known YouTubers out there. I watched a car repair channel talk about unboxing a new valve or something and he said "so let's get this onto a tray" "nice"
  • This man has eaten 61-year-old peanut butter, 118-year-old dried beef and 156-year-old hardtack, and yet his final boss are 10-year-old Chinese rations lmao. The world's future greatest superpower, everyone.
