it's crazy how ppl don't realize that getting mad at random youtubers for buying starbucks is doing nothing to help gaza. its such a stupid waste of energy and resources and i feel like people need to be more focused on sharing charities and other things that actually benefit the cause, rather than just spreading negativity that is not constructive whatsoever

I feel like no matter what you do, no matter where you shop, no matter what shows you watch, etc. you're always gong to be supporting people you don't like/ bad people. trying to avoid it is almost impossible, especially if you have a busy life, kids, etc. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try obviously but yeah. It's ok to try and educate people, tell people why they shouldn't support certain brands, but immediately having a go at someone for buying a coffee is crazy.

Like yeah, if you dont like a company for what they are doing then do not shop with said comapny. If you want to inform others, then actauly INFORM them and not just assume they have any clue about wtf is going on in the inner workings of a company.

oh god the starbucks thing is so maddening cuz they didnt even do anything to support the war there r only 2 possible reasons ppl could be mad which r 1) the ceo supports israel 2) they didnt want the starbucks union post to represent the company position neither of which make sense for a boycott (boycotts dont work btw)

Dudeeee I never understand how people get mad that no one is doing anything to help as if we as citizens on the other side of the world can do anything to help other than be aware or donate money to charity, which many people can’t do bc money is valuable and I’m sorry if this is a bad take but I feel that we as individuals all around the world come first. It is sad what’s happening and as an American I do feel we could be doing more but as far as I heard we are trying to help as much as we can but there are things our military can’t do. But me as an American citizen who has no ties to the government cannot do anything about it and that’s how it is for millions of people. People who aren’t affected also have their own lives and yes it’s selfish but it’s not effecting our people’s lives so we as humans don’t see an urgency! It’s basic caveman survival brain that goes deep down. All we can do is have faith that it will end soon and donate money if we can but don’t get mad when someone isn’t bc it doesn’t matter in the long run.

As a Muslim, I personally don't have anything against him, the point is just to avoid supporting Israel as much as possible. That being said, I don't think it's fair to say someone is against Palestine just because he bought a starbucks.
