All Common & Secret Shiny Locked Pokemon & Forms in-Game Currently (Gen 1-9)

In SwSh there was a Volcanion event, by purchasing a specific set of Japanese trading cards you can redeem points in every booster pack, and collecting up to a certain amount of points, you can redeem Volcanion in SwSh. I personally remember this because I did collect Japanese cards back in that time so I did get quite a couple Volcanions from this event. No shiny though since it's shiny locked.

There is a list of shiny locked Pokemon for each gen. Gen 1: wild Pokemon of any kind. Female versions of starters, Eevee, Lapras, Pikachu, and fossils. Gen 2: female versions of starters, Eevee, Lapras, Pikachu, and fossils. Unown other than I and V Gen 3: outside events, Ho-Oh and Lugia, Celebi, and XD shadow Pokémon. Gen 4: Celebi, Manaphy (you have to trade the egg to evade the shiny lock), Arceus, and Spiky Ear Pichu. Gen 5: Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, Zekrom, Celebi, Arceus, and Reshiram. My honest opinion is that I believe PTC is paywalling the shiny legendary and mythical Pokémon in Pokémon Go. For the Unova event next February, I think they will debut shiny Victini, but also make it so players have to go to the in person event(most likely in NYC) just get the quest needed to get the Pokemon.

Shiny Alolan Raichu, Ratita/Raticate, Meowth, and Marowak are currently unavailable since LGPE, and even then, they're full odds trade hunts.

Sudden realization that most shiny mythicals I have are from GO, and now I wouldn’t be shocked if all of these mythicals are coming to GO as shinies before the actual games.

I wonder why Pokemon do this, shiny hunting is a big thing in Pokemon so to not give us shinys for certain pokemon is odd

I never really understood people who are into shiny hunting. I'm really just into playing the games. Of course, I get excited when I happen to get one. The story is a big part of what makes the games fun, so I don't get it why people would spend lots of time shiny hunting when the story is over. Sounds so boring to me .

I hate it when people pronounce "Arceus" as "Arse-ee-uh." It's pronounced "Ark-ee-us." If you've watched the anime and played Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you would hear the proper pronunciation in the show and in the game, you get the "Arc Phone" not an "Arse Phone." Shiny Hoopa and Volcanion don't look awesome. They look like crap!
