It makes me happy that people still draw and paint, and that not everything is done by computers! (And no, "drawing" or "painting" on the computer is not actually drawing or painting. How that drives me nuts.)

Absolutely brilliant!I can't help but think had the 'excess' paper been cut away close to the painted edges, this would have added even more depth. But then again I don't really know what I'm talking about ... the thought just hit me. :)
