I love how he explains to us stuff and teaches us why this is wrong or right

I think there is something like a social media addiction and it's downright scary... It's great to see some people still understand the world :)

The main problem here isn't the family. It's the people who keep watching, supporting, simping over, fanboying, fangirling, giving them the attention and validation they so desperately ask for via words and actions, and so on, as well as the algorithm. People need to wake up and stop watching, giving attention and validation, and work on themselves instead. If not going to college (in the US is so totally not worth it), then by going to some community college, vocation school, tech school, trade school, or getting a job and then build their careers.

I am concerned about social media addiction, yet it's encouraging to see some individuals still comprehend the world!
  • 5:16 I think its important to address that Drew also mentioned how both Charli and Dixie were used to the most possible extent they could work, at an age of adolesence

Comparing to what was I watching in 2020 and how was I so jealous of Charlie’s perfect life, nowadays I find her downfall really inspiring (not in a bad way cause not everything on the internet is perfect) 1: it’s obvious that nothing lasts forever 2: instead of all the failed projects and marketing, Charlie could’ve just focus on the only thing she’s passionate about which is dancing, from that point she could’ve been even bigger than this. I find Charlie to be treated like an experiment rather than someone famous, the D’Amelios are trying everything at once to keep the fame, which is sad.

what especially bothered me about this family is how they were trying to come up with a "rags to riches" narrative as best as they can like i remember when the mother was in tears remembering how "dixie used to sit in the back of the class" like excuse me? 1. how is that even a bad thing? and 2. there are many students with much worser fates yet they're here acting like sitting in the back of the class is the most tragic thing that can happen. now don't even get me started at how both of the girls are singing about being sad or fake crying while literally sitting in their MANSION...like awww poor you !!

Whenever Influencers nowadays fall its always either: A. Explicitly chatting with minors B. Hating minorities C. Not adapting to the market D. Being greedy and forgeting about their core fanbase E . Treating fan/staff as peasents Like im starting to get bored can we have Influencer drama that ISN'T caused due to these 5 reasons?
  • @st4r709
This is scary, people made them famous last 2019 now everyone is regretting it. Its not their fault that they're famous its actually the audience and media for giving them the hype.
  • @natasha_s.h
I don't blame the girls, I blame their parents and the people who fisrt put them on a pedestal just to turn around and question their fame
  • @bijayaprasai4857
Alot of people hating her for getting so much fame and saying it's not deserved, well werent all the people giving her fame like its us people who made her famous and after that they go hate her and cry about it
  • @RayMak
Their dad seems like a very nice person

3:47 Matthew 16:26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

The raise of TikTok is in year 2020, that's pandemic era. Worldwide quarantines started around March 2020 (in China was in the end of February 2020, after Chinese New Year). So looking at the time of the global massive raise of TikTok, which is also the start of the raise of TikTokers like Charli, you can say everybody were boring at quarantine and spending their time on social media especially TikTok short videos. Now, everything basically kinda back to normal but most people seems work longer and don't really have free time like quarantine era especially because things are getting expensive everywhere, food, gas, rent. And we are in the edge of WW 3. Influencers like Charli and Dixie, even The Kardashian, who basically living in a bubble of luxury, spoiled and unrelatable to most people rn, feels so dystopian

Thank you, Drew for informing us.

I think a big reason of the downfall is that most people work now or go to college, uni etc. back then it was corona, they all were home bored and now they have to go to school, work etc. they don't have time for them anymore they just got older. The algorithm is also a big reason there
  • @RayMak
They stayed together as a humble family
  • @Jisoo-coded
i think people just realized how boring entitled famous people can be

Fame courupts a mind, every single child actor ends up being dicks. Its because from an early age, they are treated like royalty. Whatever they want, someone is running to get it. Imagine yourself as a kid never getting told no. I was told no maybe 4 times a day. They dont get told no, imagine what that woukd do to you.
