The best thing about extreme deep diving is that you don't have to do it.

This is absolutely terrifying. I like my head above water.

Almost killed myself in my youth while diving. The darkness and feeling of euphoria makes you lose focus on watching your depth gauge. I was lucky my guardian angel snapped me back into reality.

At least they finally pronounced Sheck’s name right in a video. They usually pronounce it shack. He’s the OG of cave diving and his name is basically royalty in the diving community. He was the first person to break the 800 foot mark and did so on regular air, something considered suicidal by today’s diving standards.
  • How about the splelunker who died wedged upside down in a cave for over 24 hrs. while rescuers tried fruitlessly to free him.🤯
  • There is a worse way to die. Some dude on the west coast was on the beach with his truck. To get out of the sun he laid under his truck for a quick nap. The tide coming in work him up, and he could not get out from under the truck as the wheels were sinking and water rising. He slowly drowned.

I'm surprised they didn't come up with the idea of having numerous extra tanks along the guide line. A lot of these issues could have been easily avoidable with nearly minimal additional effort
  • I cant even imagine the sort of hallucinations at that depth 🙄🙄🙄
  • As a diver this video was very interesting BUT IF U HAVE OXYGEN PROBLEMS IF U CAN, tell ur buddy and exit the waters do not go alone always go with a buddy thats one of the most important rules of diving
  • Alice In Chains: And we die young, faster we run! I feel so alone, gonna end up a big ol pile of them bones! Band of Skulls: Death by diamonds, death by diamonds, death by diamonds, death by diamonds and pearls!

That's good that you guys upload videos frequently. Or is it just me who thinks like that, because i am your new subscriber...

3:30 pretty sure it's not because of oxygen toxicity, and more because of the nitrogen's narcotic effect and to reduce the risk of HPNS.
