Finishing The Major Structural Repairs On The Classic 1984 Porsche 911 - Ep7

Publicado 2024-07-20
The super rusty classic Porsche 911 is starting to look like a car again! Crazy to think how this series started and how the car looks now! In this video we finish the last of the major structural work on the car. That includes getting the inner sills on as well as repairing the tub of the car which was severely damaged by rust and corrosion.

Its a good feeling stitching panels back onto a car again and this classic Porsche restoration is one step closer to completion!

Ryan, what an amazing job you are doing with this car. So deceiving that it looked so good until you unpealed the onion. This turned into a full restoration. It's looking amazing!
  • That car had some hidden gems underneath that red paint😮😮 but with the great work you do it will be mint again.
  • Love seeing rust replaced with real metal instead of fiberglass and/or body filler. So much more solid using metal replacement parts... Thumbs Up!

  • You guys do so much plug welding im suprised you haven't got a spot welder
  • Hello buddy , watching from Scotland, can’t wait to see how it looks when you have finished it 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
  • Sorry if this has been asked before but your laser, what does it do, if anything, to the myriad of materials you find in cars that aren't steel ? eg, what happens if you shoot a bit of wiring harness, or worse, your hand ? Great channel by the way, and liking the new 'narrative' type presentation.
  • An amazing Patchwork Porsche restoration. I used to want a mid-80's 911, but seeing how much can rot before you notice it I'm not so sure now. Not everyone has a YCR nearby who can do rescue work like this. Amazing !
  • The car has had a well used past. You guys are giving it a future.

I have never heard anyone ask the cost of this type of repair/restoration?
  • @pm1104
This will cost an absolute fortune in manpower .. 😂
