Max, This trail has given me immense joy over the years and you deserve a lot of credit for making it happen. Thanks!

It was tough for me going up the steep incline, I’m quite athletic but the elevation got me. I was short of breath going uphill. It took a few miles to get acclimated to the elevation. And to make things worst, i was suffering from the mosquito bites. Lots of them. So don’t forget your bug spray. But it is all worth it once you reach the top. One of the best views I ever saw.

I rode this last summer (2020). It was one of the scariest trails I've ever ridden, since I have mega fear of heights.

I’ve done the Flume Trail from Spooner Lake, and the last section of climb out of north canyon is a challenge; will be a little easier next time with my new Specialized Levo :)

A great ride for all the family. Highly recommend. Swim at lake and then great fun down.

The real question is : Is it doable on a road bike? I can usually do most (not super steep) fire roads with it.
