The Adream Team got married in Japan in 2020. We currently live in Osaka with our pet Munch. We are an international, interracial, bilingual Japanese and American couple living abroad.     Very true hahaha, I’m from the Philippines but our birthdays celebration in my country is almost similar with what you said how u celebrate ur bday in America😄 here in japan it’s just a normal day, so sad.
  • It's funny because my family does the same thing for birthdays. I didn't start making wishes until I started celebrating my birthday with my fiances family. (28 years old) it was never anything extravagant just a cake, some candles, no wishes. We got to pick what my dad or mom would make for dinner and we would only get one gift. My mom was a dairy farmer and my father is from Canada.
