Dan Patrick has a lot of experience because he worked for the Mothership Aka ESPN for nearly two decades he's probably seen people come and go and he's on point in this situation
  • This whole issue is unbelievably simple. Michael Jordan said "Republicans buy shoes too," and he declined to get political. If espn wants the 63 million viewers who voted for Trump, they should talk about sports. By the way, I watch very little espn for a different reason: TNT does the NBA better, MLB Network does baseball better, NFL Network does fantasy football better... Are you sensing a theme?

Jamel’s Hill is what ESPN considers worthy on air talent these days. She and I exchanged a few emails about the state of the NFL a few years ago.Her understanding of what the NFL has become was utterly superficial. It’s no shock that many highly talented people have left ESPN or no longer come on as contributors.

I don't want her disciplined at all, but the double standard is undeniable.

“Sports and entertainment that’s what we do” we need more of that in the world of sports rn

Did I just watch a segment where a sports show talks about social issues? How can u contradict yourself in less than 5minutes ?
  • It's about time to boycott ESPN. The message is: Stay within sports programming, this is NOT entertainment pushing racism... STOP the BS!

Espn didn't do anything, but if you say anything about Obama,i promise you'll be fired.
  • Dan Patrick is one of the most rational guys out in the sport industry. Always makes great points.

Curt Schilling went out against a whole group of people with his retweet, she called out one person for his behaviour, how the hell is that the same?
  • @g2879
This is why I like Dan Patrick he's calm he's well-thought-out he's precise with the things he says and he makes a lot of sense I totally agree with him here there has to be some limits imposed on people expressing their political views on a sports and entertainment television show

That was a good point as far as the statue vs museum statement. I do believe that would be a good middle ground.
  • @crk140
Remember the good old days when espn talked about sports and mtv played music videos?
  • @phays10
    ESPN absolutely leans left.
  • @nymike06
Boycott ESPN. Hill needs to be fired.
  • @JDR501
If ESPN were smart they would have their employees sign a contract not to participate in social media unless it is directly related to sports. Regardless, this has set a double standard.
