Finally...it came! From when they first announced the Gavle I knew I needed to get my hands on one of these. I have many different co2 guns ranging from little bb pistols to break barrel rifles to the Air Javelin to the T4E .43 cal Walther ...now to the Gavle. very excited to try this out. I'll be uploading a video of this thing in action very soon!

Also...I must say that Grimberg has some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. Besides the company uploading videos showing the progress of the Gavle every step of the way, any questions I had were answered immediately through email. Anywho...I'm going to stop typing and get this thing fired up!

So I received my Gavle about a week ago, and unfortunately after the first shot all the CO2 leaked out. I sent it back to them to be fixed, and I just got it back today. Sadly, it’s doing the same exact thing. I’ve burned through about 13 of the CO2 they applied. Kurt has been amazing with his customer service. I just hope 3rd times a charm!

I have a pistol crossbow with broadhead bolts, can't really get a firearm in Northern Ireland.

Those co2 cartridges I showed in the video are standard 12g cartridges which leave plenty of room in the chamber for larger cartridges. That being said there are different sized 12g cartridges? The Gavle says to use 12g cartridges but the ones they sent are much larger, although they clearly state they are 12g cartridges...I'm still figuring out what's what here. It looks like the Gavle can fit up to a 16g cartridge, but don't hold me to that. I'm going to order some and see what all fits and I'll post the results here at a later date.

Any update? I’m curious if you also experienced the co2 leaking/seal issues (or any other issues). Thanks for the video!

I have one on order. They're getting 42 plus joules now out of the gavle simply by using it's either a 10 g or 10.5 g round ball from Grimburg. Still using the standard CO2 screw in cartridge. I just learned of this today after speaking with Kurt. Happy holidays.
  • Wow wish this was available in Australia, we have no right to self defense only to die while waiting 2 hours for police
