So if you have CCS, you do your homework, research all the chargers, read the forums, and push it to the limit, then it's a coin flip between losing to the Tesla by a few hours, and losing to the Tesla by a few minutes.

Truly one of the most fun adventures I’ve done, huge shoutout to both Kyle and Ryan for optimizing every last bit of juice these cars had making this a epic race! What a freakin blast this was!

I CANNOT believe I just spent THREE AND ONE HALF hours of my life watching this! I kept thinking I’d fast forward to the end. But as you all exclaimed over and over and over and over again and again, it was “freakin’ epic!” Bravo!!!

I really hope they do this race again once all of the EVs can all use the Tesla charging network.

For me, one of the best aspects to this video was the cooperative competition instead of cut-throat competition. This made it far more enjoyable.

1350 Miles in 24 hours in a 2018 Model 3 AWD LR. We got the call, my mom was in hospice, only a few days to live. After a couple of bad overnight drives, we have always stayed at hotel. We decided this trip warranted an over night drive. The Model 3 and the supercharger network performed flawlessly. The two things that stood out was autopilot and how comfortable the seats where for the passenger to sleep. We averaged 57 MPH. It was mostly in the Northeast and the Midwest, where the speed limits are 65-70 versus 75-80 for the race. The faster speeds might change the average speed.

I’d like to test the route planner and make a rule that you have to do what it recommends. That’s the way normal people will use them. Most people don’t have the specific expertise your team does.

Now a race to Vegas in reverse would be interesting……… backing up all the way would give the reversing cams a work out!

The fact that you all made this video with such passion and posted it is proof that EVs are not ready for prime time and gasoline powered cars are still king now and for at least the next decade.

If Kyle had drove the Taycan he probably would had won this race. He never would charge a Taycan to 94% to arrive with 17% at the next stop. But anyway great race, nice run form everyboady and thanks to all of you, it was a pleasure to watch.
