Let’s not forget that this is a man who’s mother tongue is not English, yet is speaking of things that most who speak English couldn’t conceive of putting into words.

He's very forthright in his answers. He doesn't seem worried about his image. He's unashamed and spontaneous. I didn't realize he was born in the late 19th century. This interview took place 10 years before I was born. What a treasure this recording is.

His intelligence and knowledge is daunting, but there's something about his being that's so humble, human and familiar. He's like Gandalf and your grandpa in one person. Always a twinkle in the eye. Very interesting and enchanting. This is the part of YouTube I love.
