Great Video Brad, I love your mods but I am lazy to do that, some years ago the story was different, lol. I just undervolted and I got pretty good result in terms of thermal and performance for my needs (heavy Ms office use and browsing)

Cool stuff bro. Gonna replace my Matebook X pro with one that hopefully has less coil whine then I'll probably go ahead and do the mod for better thermals.

What type of screw do you need for removing the heatsink?

I have the exact same laptop as you have. It costed me 1500 euros... And For that price I expected a good performing laptop. My issue: the laptop overheats very fast... when plugged in for charging the fans while turn on, and the laptop just starts to get uncomfortable hot. Is this normal for this laptop? Have you expected something similar?

Need some help. Trackpad suddenly stopped working. Isn't even located in device manager anymore and can only use external mouse. Any suggestions?

Hi Nice video, can you make a video for screen replasment? The shop in Norway try to trick the costumers by saying that it is not posible to change the metal casing only. I think they are trying to be like Apple genious bar.

So, my question is, how much has the X Pro improved, after modding for lowering temperatures? Do you have any numbers on this, or approx? :-) Thanks

Hey Brad, do you happen to know which connecter is in charge of the touchscreen and the fingerprint scanner. Complete the modes today but those aren't working.

Hi Brad, I was wondering can you slip out and replace the SSD without removing the heat sink? Thanks for the help!

jeez all this is necessary just use 4-8 screws like the old day. Dell's big fat heavy laptop has literally one screw to open.
