Anyone starting in 2020 don’t give up. It’s a long road but u will make it. Don’t focus on results too much and enjoy the ride ❤️
  • @ChristandLocs
People underestimate the power in working with *micro influencers*. People are less likely to question the insight of someone who isn’t getting a big check to push a product.
  • @KendallPoland
I tried this strategy & got over 15 responses!!! I'm so glad your giving us this content for free!

I definitely believe in at least having a budget and asking about rates when in comes to influencers. But when you have no budget, just sending it can also create a relationship if your product is top notch. Many people think the merchandise IS payment, this video should help them out.

As a small business that's just starting up, it's sometimes hard to figure out where to start when reaching out to influencers. Will definitely be using this advice when making pitches and finding influencers to promote our shop! This video has been so helpful, Thank you!!!!
  • @Janay.
She looks so pretty loving the hair😍❤️

Yo! This is SO necessary! They should relate and talk about the ask. They need to pitch, not just ask for rates! They’ve gotta talk about how the relationship will benefit both parties, not just them. And legit, in 2020, ain’t nobody tryna be an ambassador with a discount code and free product. Talk proper compensation and the mutual benefit😉

Great info and definitely the smaller influencers can be very powerful as I've found they are more likely to respond to your communication and they are more likely to accept! The challenges I've faced with smaller influencers though is you won't make as many sales because of their smaller audience and it can be quite time consuming to watch hours of content and subscribe to every influencer you reach out to. First, not every influencer is going to say "yes." Second, if you figure 1 sale for every 5,000 - 10,000 views, and most posts/videos get their views within the first 24-48 hours, that means you have to reach out to A LOT of influencers every week!

Really well put, I've also found that as an influencer myself, I take note of well written emails too... i.e. the grammar is correct and they don't seem spammy. I've had some with different fonts and sized text, plus slogans that seem autogenerated. As you said, being personal is key, and that's what I most appreciate. Great content as always xx

1.Have intention (Do your research before reaching out and try to dig) micro influencers, macro influencers 2. Follow different hashtags 3. Build a relationship with this influencers now before launching 4.Be personable (Some personality some touches to it .. talk how they agreed with you with their actions for example.. share how long following them .. add something personal into the message what you like or what’s linked between you both what’s the link ..) follow them and understand their content and try to get how they engage with their audience so you can craft your pitch around them 5.Make your ask Be clear with what you want from them Advice collaboration ... Start it off with Hey Aron, and start with something linked and which collaboration you want ... show that you understand and watch their content .. my name is ... Relatability at the very beginning is gonna really help to garner the attention of influencers .. Relatability then Your name then start addressing the prob that you are hoping yo help them solve (..) 6. Note Your website needs to be solid Your social media should be clear and pretty solid And I want to see that you’re active always not a silent place Cz it’s not cool Make sure everything is really raw and their Audience can understand you 7.Send them your products find the address and send it Text them DM if they didn’t answer check out their email, twitter or any other account that can be reached 8.Tell them about your budget or ask them about their pricing Or you can gift it to them Ease it into their world 9.Follow up Keep following up be persistent 10.Keep building that relationship You never know they might answer 11.Try to reach multiple people

Yes! Golden info. I'm a writer and I'm used to pitching magazines; and then I was an editor at a magazine who was pitched by business owners hoping to get their products mentioned in the magazine. So many times people simply didn't do any research. And it was really obvious they sent the same template to every single magazine. And if they spelled my name incorrectly, their email went into the, "Bye!" pile. That's such a simple thing, really. It says a lot if you didn't even bother to get that right.
  • @Briae
I was actually looking at doing this to promote my new book! This video came at the most perfect time! Im a HUGE fan of using micro-influencers with high engagement rates rather than those with large followings. Getting guest spots on podcasts is also extremely helpful in addition to traditional blogs. My favorite is co-hosting lives. That really is key to propelling anyone's following
  • @nickagrinzone
I've actually used a lot of these tips when I cold email local businesses in my area for my visual storytelling company. Value and pointing out specific details on what they're doing great and what they can improve upon have really been the game changer for my business. Once I started putting myself in the shoes of other business owners' and their desire to connect better with their audience, my conversion rate practically doubled.
  • @erinwalker9173
I'm so excited (and nervous) to try out this method. Thank you so much! It is great to hear from an influencer herself what influencers like to see and that we should be persistent!
  • @PZCherokee
Extra tip: Its great if an influencer can promote you. But but can become an influencer too. So don’t think it’s the only way to get ahead with your business. Thanks for all the info Erin👑🙏🏾🌟
  • @lennaallen
Erin's tips on connecting with influencers are gold! Been using them and just added a twist by upgrading my social media content with boost app social. It's been helping me make my profile stand out. Great for that polished online presence Erin mentioned!
  • Hey Erin, thanks so much for these great pointers! I’ve sent my products to a couple of influencers who, after receiving them, they basically just stopped communicating with me. I understand that there are risk to sending products to influencers, but when influencers agreed to doing a review, in exchange for receiving the products, this makes them seem dishonest when they take your stuff and stop responding to your emails. As a new business with limited inventory and funds...it can be very distressing to loose your products like this. Thanks again for this awesome information! God bless you!! 🙏🏽🙂
