I found this channel by accident several months ago while you tube surfing for techniques in spiritual protection and energy magick in general, about the same time I discovered the material of the great Dion Fortune in her audio books "psychic self defense" and "sane occultism" on you tube, which were humorous, entertaining and extremely comforting. But back to this youtube channel, "Lifting the Lamp", is one of the few contmporary intelligent you tubers that actually did the hard work of letting people know that there's a very real dark side to messing around with some types of magick, especially if folks are mis-using it for "vengeance" for various perceived wrongs etc, or for using it for judgey, manipulative reasons, like trying to play God etc. Like some juvenile or troubled types are prone to get mixed up with. Anyhow, I kept coming back to see what topic would be next. The delivery is always eloquent, mature and reasonable and the topics, if not directly resonant to me have always been extremely educational, so thank you and I can't wait to see the path unfold and the journey continue deeper into inner peace, what a worthwhile goal to help people with! The topics of meditation and yoga along with angelic magick, western esoteriscism and shadow work sounds great, can't wait to see your interpretation of these subjects which is always refreshing and provides new ways of looking at things for me!

Congrats on the Subs. I would say I'm actually in the "unpopular" lot? I find I am more of the Brotherhood of the Light. Likewise, I feel kind of lost, and I can't find other "grounded" Fraters who strive to the way of Light. You are really one of three Fraters I follow who are sane and grounded. Are there other rituals other than Middle Pillar and connecting with the Holy Guardian Angel you would recommend with advancing my craft?

Can you give us links to your Enochian videos?

A few videos ago you mentioned communicating with the Christ, could you please explain how to tell the difference between the HGA and other spirits? When you pray to the HGA do you pray to it similar to how Christians would pray to Jesus or where in space/time do you direct the prayers? To contact the HGA do we direct our communication to a being in the sky, towards our hearts or minds, towards the universe in a wide way similar to that feeling of settling into mindfulness/meditation etc? I’m having a lot of trouble with Damon Brand’s Magickal Destiny despite working with it since its release years ago now. The Abramelin is even less helpful. Thanks for all you do, I believe our minds think in similar ways and the way you explain things is so helpful for people like us. HGA stuff is particularly hard to understand because people seem to reach it and then they forget that there is really not that much out there to guide people on this journey and have little interest in helping others. Lon Milo just says the vaguest things about K&C with metaphors about dancing, Damon Brand’s book, and don’t get me wrong I really do appreciate that he tried to teach another method besides Abramelin and Bornless Rite, tells stories about being lost in markets without food etc and my mind can’t understand how these things are supposed to help us achieve K&C.

My friend, I need to know, I really need to know what is your belief? Since you have met your holy guardian angel - did he/she tell you what you should believe? I am confused about belief myself. How come there are so many Christians who profess that they hear directly from Jesus, and Jesus is sometimes very harsh in judgement and is telling them some of their family members are not born again and therefore are going to burn in hell for ever and ever, unless they proclaim him as their personal savior and be born again. Yet - NDE's - many of them - claim that there is no hell, and even atheists go to heaven. Do you think there could be a fake Jesus talking to these people in their spirit - judging them harshly, and talking about a hellfire lasting forever?

Congratulations but its kind of sad to see you changing or questioning your beliefs in magik for several weeks in a row after all magik is what makes your chanel unique ,the problem with psychoteraphy and schizophrenia diagnostic usually given to believers in magik is that according to psychology every entity is mental and a creation of the persons own mind . That is quite a limited view of reality just so psychology can retain its value as a scientific practice it has to abjurate of its origins the study of the human spirit and soul ,mind is subtle and inmaterial and with all certainty creativity arises from beyond this reality .Limiting the minds potential to connect with other realms is like having a tree without roots and branches . I understand you are going through difficult times but denying your beliefs and turning this chanel into a new "mindfulness" "woke"space would be a huge loss .Never doubt magik or what magik gave you will go away
