Cost of Living | Mercadona shopping | Spain 2024

We went to mercadona every other day last year on holiday and tried different wines each time. Not once did we pay more than 3 quid or get a bad wine. The quality of the food and drink was amazing. Thanks for posting

I love this video, guys! Thanks for making it. I’m sitting here in Birmingham today three weeks after you posted this. It’s great to see. I wish English supermarkets were like this, I’m a cook and I just love that they sell this variety of stuff like chicken carcasses and rabbits and quail and Partridge and pigs ears everything. There are so many amazing recipes that you can make with what they sell there. And you’re absolutely right that meat does look so fresh and lovely. Brilliant, I’ve got to get myself to Spain right away! 😊 Thanks

Remember the mercadona and the quality of the food compared to uk and wipes the floor with every uk supermarket. Loved it.

If I remember correctly the owner of Mercadona has a family member with food alergies. This is the motive why they have a lot of gluten free or lactose free/vegan products on shelf.

20 years shopping our groceries at Mercadona but you folks have tried more things than we ever did 😂 Btw: Our preferred wine for everyday meals is “Borsao”. We fell in love with the cariñena grape while in the Aragon’s Pyrenees.

I live in Dubai, and I've just ran out of lentejas pardinas, everytime I come back to Spain I always return to Dubai with my luggage allowance maxed out with Mercadona products. 'Bueno, bonito y barato.'
