I just started Keto 3 weeks ago, lost 18+ pounds. I said to myself, β€œself find a good mentor to talk you through each day!” Then you came up in my timeline. Besides morning prayer videos on β€œGive Him 15” you are my daily dose of insight and encouragement! Thank you!
  • I follow all of these tips and I’ve reversed type 2 diabetes. (Lost 53 pounds) It’s informative videos like yours that helped me to do it.
  • I was already eating healthy when I was told my sugars were to hi. 10 min walks and lifting weights helped allot. Thanks
  • Ms. Kait you don’t know how much I have appreciated having you as a health coach. I am amazed at just how a little effort goes such a long way. Thanks for all the tips always.
  • I find in talking to people that the sleep factor is greatly underestimated. Some find it hard to believe that sleep is a factor at all. Personally, I can see a difference in my fasting blood sugar based on how much sleep I got the previous night, and whether it was good quality sleep. I'm not sure why, but my blood sugar generally goes up when I walk, even while fasting. That may mean that my insulin resistance is not completely reversed as of yet. No problem! I'll just keep at it. After all, it has improved incredibly already. Keep up the good work, Kait! Love your videos!

All I can say is Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I have been suffering for years w this. I has absolutely no clue what it really was I was dealing with. I've now suffered from extremely high blood pressure starting at only 33, I just found out I am now type 2 diabetic, I suddenly gained weight and I've had no clue why bc I didn't understand or think I was eating poorly. I was avoiding sugar, and soda and eating lower calories..but I was eating almost all carbs I realize now. And I was diagnosed w insulin resistance, handed some medication, and basically none of this was ever explained to me. I have learned more from your videos in the last 20 mins than in the last 16 years of going to doctors. I can't believe it. I can't express to you how greatful I really am to u. I kept asking myself why this was happening. How it was all related to each other. I just felt so lost.. thank u
  • @shekatagani
Thanks Kait. I'm doing all that! Progress is slow, but it took me a long time to get out of shape. I'm 67 and just started a low carb diet a few months ago. Cut the Carbs, Sugar and Alcohol. I stated to exercise daily and slowly loosing weight and Blood pressures meds already reduced. Hope I get off them completely! didn't know about Keto a few months ago... So glad I found folks like you on YouTube who put me on a good path!

Thank you so much. Our Doctors fail to advise us . No explanation. I appreciate your information. I will follow.
  • @adabaquero2091
Love this video...I am doing many of the things you mentioned already and they have helped a lot .1) I don't eat breakfast because I was never hungry in the morning anyway. 2) eat first meal like a brunch at ab.12pm. 3)go to bed earlier Ab.12AM. 4)Increased protein. I will start taking a walk after eating and will work on muscle building. And will eat the carbs of the meal last. Great tips. Forgot!!! No soda, no juice, even watered down juice is bad. Worse, juice with fake fructose. It is the way it goes into your blood stream that is bad. .
  • @beardumaw24
Great video! Keep them coming. I've been doing keto for the last 6 months eating during a four-hour time frame then fasting for 20 hours. Have never felt better in my life! High quality fats, moderate high-quality protein and low carbs. And vegetables!

l am male 61, 5.9 in and 261, last year l was 277 and l slowed down the drinking beer because that is obese.. feeling bad.. 2 months now omad with keto diet. 2 monthas and initial weight loss is 20 pounds and plateau.. Now l am doing lemon celery and ginger root, and the hard to drink apple cider vinigar during the day about 2 glasses and fast.. l am feeling much better and feet have shrunk to normal size, no more limping in my step. last 2 years l was thinking l needed a knee operation but it was uric acid, gout is being healed. Evening l do green juicing to make sure l am getting enough nutrients, and l just do not eat large salads. l will save chewing for main meal and protein.. I do get full very fast eating this way, and do some berries and plain yogurt, nuts for desert. Not so sweet but sweet tooth not so strong anymore. Love your channel Mahalo
