  • My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. But thank God for this piece of article youtube.com/post/UgkxVYhghKWmrUgXARZ_ydZTvmmcrw5L0… At first he thought he had the flu and was lying down on the bed for three days until his sister took him to the hospital. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.

I have never eaten junk food, consumed sodas or not been active but still got insulin resistane just from eating too much and not getting enough sleep. Just shows how sensitive our bodies actually are.
  • @MANGASIAME
My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through Diabets.Care She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that
  • Gurl!! I have 11 out of 15 symptoms! You have opened my eyes to why I have not half, not most but all my medical issues. I think you video literally just saved my life. I am so stoked to know I can make adjustments in my life to help live a healthier and happier life.
  • Hypertensive for nearly 30 years on meds. Pre diabetic for over 15 years. Fasting blood sugar has increased over the last 10 years. Struggled with weight loss over the years. I have had retinal bleeds in both eyes that required laser retinal surgery. Noticed frequent urination. Carbohydrate addicted. When I started to connect the dots and did my research, I went low carb / keto and have turned my health around. Medical profession was of little help as I had to figure this out for myself all thru Youtube.
  • I've struggled with swollen ankles for years and would never have thought it was due to high blood sugar. I thought it was too much sodium. When I behave and eat low carb my ankles look so much better.
  • @tigs73
Great info. I had my fasting insulin measured for the first time last week (it was 3.6). I had metabolic syndrome and regret not having it measured back then just to have a comparison! I've lost 90 pounds on high protein, animal based whole foods and completely reversed my insulin resistance.
  • I have been Keto for almost 2 years now. I lost 70 pounds total. I'm female, and now weight 102 pounds. I'm at my goal weight at this time. I have my labs done soon then my doc appt. I sure hope my labs are good. Keto has been very good to me.
  • @TraceyBoyland
I have ALL these symptoms. Worst part not one doctor took note of this. 2 Because of your video on PCOS I'm now aware of the problem . Thank you
  • @LAVirgo67
This is all true and verified by my doctor. These signs can also be seen in children. My son started showing the brown skin around his neck when he gained weight as a teenager. At 27 he works out and eats very healthy. The brown skin has disappeared. I'm on KETO right now & hope to get rid of many of the symptoms that Kait has noted on this video.
  • @cass1espr3h3r
Thank you Kait! I’ve been dieting for at least 45 of my 58 years and have learned a lot. With hard work and exercise, I got my weight under control by 40s. Currently diligently working on high blood sugar with A1C of 7.3. Things I’ve heard my whole life make so much sense the way you explain them! Love your channel!!
  • @lgwappo
I'm 105 pounds heavier than I was at 20 but I eat less & exercise more. I have nearly every one of these symptoms. I will start the keto diet tomorrow.
  • @carolm3469
The information you’re providing is excellent, tells me that my primary dropped the ball for years when I complained about so many of the 15 symptoms you discussed. It’s awkward to watch you, however.. you look (and sound) like you’re trying so hard to hold back laughter while discussing a serious topic.
  • @VARDHANSHARMA
Explained in such a layman language. Appreciate it Kait. You just ROCK..!!! ❀️❀️
  • @user-ey9fd8bm5k
OMG! I have 12 of this Symptoms thank you so much for this video , I really appreciated. I am going to change my food intake from now on thank you so much!
  • You explain this all SO much better than any doctor I've talked to. Working on getting myself back under control. Planning to try the intermittent fasting and sensible eating as you have suggested in previous videos.
  • @tashaohaynes
I have 8 out of the 15 symptoms! I recently had blood work done, but without explanation of the results and how to link it all together, it’s all confusing to me! But with your thorough explanation and now knowing what symptoms to look for I’m better educated!! Omg I just diagnosed myself as being somewhat insulin resistant, even tho my fasting glucose was 87! I’m excited to know though that I can reverse this without medication! Now let me go binge your other videos of how to reverse this! Thank you Coach Kait! You are truly amazing!
  • @Lisdexia
I was diagnosed with this a few weeks back but turns out I've had fairly useless doctors as I've had symptoms for years (including when I was very slim - BMI of 19) but I always noticed that if I slacked off at all with eating/exercise I'd gain weight around my stomach but nowhere else. I changed jobs but still ate under my supposed metabolic weight but gained about 40kg in 4-5yrs (30 of that in 3yrs). Again doctors would always focus on my iron which was chronically low and just said regarding insulin to just eat well and exercise which I was doing... finally a doctor took it seriously and with no change to life style and just Metformin (because I have been eating well and exercising a lot) I've dropped 2kg in 2 weeks which I never could and just maintaining was hard. Thank you for more information as I never knew so many of the symptoms I've had for years but no one took me seriously
