The Northeast Texas Trail is a planned 130+-mile multi-use trail along the route, following alongside U.S. Highway 82 and Texas State Highway 34.
I was in Dallas for my sons VEX robotic competition so I decided to ride the NETT end to end while in the area. I had my mind made up before realizing the trail isn't finished.
I hit the trail minutes after a severe storm passed and on the first day the threat of tornadoes and rain continued.
This is Mile 1 through 60 of what I was able to ride of the trail, unfortunately it turned in to a pavement tour pretty quickly.
Day two will be posted shortly
drone notice any and all drone flight footage, flight path take off and end on private property and/or with permission.

The way of your narratives, and the intevallic music are really soothing, and epitomise an attitude and style. ❤❤

I live in this area, and generally like the undeveloped nature of the trail. I agree with staying off the trail after a lot of rain. We have that claggy mud/clay and it can be hard to see the ruts hidden under the water's surface. Thanks for sharing your ride.

They need to raise that trail so people can use year round

All that rain and you only encountered one snapping turtle and no water moccasins that is a really good day. looking forward to day 2.

Is that a new MTB? I use the same grips and bar ends on trips and have that same raincoat (without the hood). How the raincoat hold up. Haven’t had to use mine very much.

We are close to Celeste, and have took a few horses down some of the trail a few miles.

Great video. You should use AI and narrate all these like Bane from Batman.
