Alba Gu Bra. Even though the movie is wrought with historical inaccuracy, it is by far one of the greatest movies I have ever seen, other than Outlaw King. The legacy of William Wallace is never forgotten, I am a son of Scotland and I am damn proud to be.

I remember watching it at the cinema in Scotland. The whole audience were ready for a fight. My son, who is Australian from a Scottish Dad was wild after seeing it. I know it was a Gibson film, but still fired a lot of emotions.

I still remember that old guy and his son. They are real good actors.

The masterpiece that you will never see on this day....

In this movie so many scenes brings me emotions. At very beginning of movie before Wallaceā€™s father depart for a battle, young Wallace shows his enormous fighting spirit even with his small body. That part is telling orientation of movie and his way of life at a single moment. I donā€™t know the specific name of this method, but that part triggers me all epic moments highly emotional.
  • The opening scene you have when Wallace goes into Lanark for revenge is one of my favourites and one of the most tense and well produced scenes on the entire movie, of any movie. A classic. Many slag the movie off, but here are parts of that movie that were very well done!

I did not realize Longshanks was Patrick McGoohan (Warden from ā€œEscape from Alcatrazā€) and episodes of Columbo when I first saw the film, only decades after I discovered it.

Braveheart is definately one of my favourite movies of all time. I've never seen such an inspirational amazing and incredible medieval movie šŸ™šŸ”šŸ’Æ. They may take all lifes but they'll never take OUR FREEDOM!!!! šŸ“󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁓ó æāš” Every man dies, not every man really lives. Absolutely truly a MASTERPIECE undoubtedly!!! ā¤šŸ™šŸ™šŸ”

Remember the sentiment of this story. The people of the world need to rise up against their would be masters!
  • Star Wars actor in Braveheart. @1:10, Malcolm Tierney, from Star Wars a New Hope. His famous line was 'Where are you taking this....thing?' in the Death Star detention center.

I loved that scene, when the king threw the futbucker off the balcony and he splatted on the stone floor.

No-one can live without freedom .we're born free

ā€œI am skilled in the arts of war and ā€œmilitreeā€ tactics, sireā€ - Phillips famous last words. Apparently Phillip never grew wings and learned how to fly.

12:28 "And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days, from this day to that, for one chance, JUST ONE CHANCE, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take OUR FREEDOM!!!"

That #1 is one of the best scenes in history of film, not just this movie. Masterpiece of acting and writing!
