I feel like us complaining about this is the same as old people complaining about phones. We’ve become the monsters we hated.

My dad had walked into the living room with a skibidi toilet video on, and I shit you not, thought it was some satanic ass video and his confusion just made me laugh

my mom found out about skibidi toilet yesterday through browsing the toy section on temu and seeing countless bootleg plushies of it. she put one in her cart because she thought it looked funny

This makes me glad that the golden age of Gmod/SFM animation was before the rise of content farm bots. Modern content farms would have gone absolutely ham over things like the Gmod Idiot Box or TF2 Air.

The main thing about this is its just people seeing what Gmod animations are like for the first time and as kids do there just HAS to be more and more they can never just leave well enough alone. If Team Fabulous 2 came out today I'm sure they'd do the exact same thing with that.

The image you showed at 8:44 is from a Japanese advert called No More Eiga Dorobou (literally No More Movie Thieves) which basically a bunch of Japanese short videos against piracy. It features the camera guy as the antagonist making bootleg videos in theaters while a patrol lamp officer chases him to apprehend him. They're pretty entertaining videos. Some fun facts there about it.

The worst part about the channel featured at 22:35 is that even from the tame stuff to the, well other stuff, everything appears to be stolen fanart. I was only able to see one or two instances of credit given and even then I doubt most artists would consent to their content being taken and used in this way. But aside from the overzealous content farms, I think the original Skibidi series has its own charm to it, like many other people in the comments have said, it brings back memories of the classic Gmod animation era (even if it isn’t explicitly animated in Gmod).

I found out about skibidi toilet before a lot of people did and seeing people lose their shit at it and how popular it is was fun to watch unfold

I think Skibidi Toilet is a true testament to the universal fact that gmod content never truly dies and I actually love that for it. Content farms aside, this is something I think we would all have gotten a kick out of too when we were young.

Kind of funny how doom studio went from being a garden of banban and skibidi toilet content farm to making the most popular fanmade skibidi toilet series ever, with OST, sick models, and good story, that’s what I call an upgrade.

I think much like Alphabet Lore, these sort of YouTube Short animations are just niche during their development. Initially as a joke or meme, up until each video builds up lore that people began getting invested. Now because there technically is very few mature content and the general goofy style, kids get attracted. So a kid fanbase happens. Skibidi Toilet isn't bad at all. Though I think a lot of people just get annoyed. Just hoping that at least it doesn't get used in Elsagate type videos (though knowing the internet, sadly it's inevitable)

Skibidi toilet literally said "hold my beer." and totally destroyed the Garden of Banban.

At least the original skibidi toilet series is pretty good, it’s a return to the old gmod YTP days. Way better than the huggy wuggy banban bullshit that’s blown up.

Moral of the story: Skibidi is good itself, other channels that try to use horrible art of it to their advantage needs to be destroyed.

Skibidi Toilet is a good example of the fact, that one day, you will understand how Boomers felt when they saw what you were into back in the day. We are slowly become our parents with each passing day. But lets be real, if Skibidi Toilet was released back in GMod's golden age, it would be considered a clasic (maybe even a Gmod Freak).

Tbh the animations are KIND OF fine on themselves, what I see as the issue is how it's overused everywhere. Can't say it doesn't happen with everything that becomes popular nowadays though

This guy went from talking about sister location to skibidi toilet.. We definitely took a step back.

I want the parent of every kid who watch Skibidi toilet to film their kid singing the song and play it back to them once they develop common sense.
