A train derailment is caught on camera in Bennet, Nebraska. You can hear the voice of a young man in the background as he watched the startling scene unfold. The crash occurred between two coal trains. Thankfully no one was hurt but it did cause damage. Prosecutors allege that the 17-year-old who recorded video of the derailment is responsible for flipping the switch to cause the crash. Inside Edition Digital has more.

    Nah, that should be a TERRORISM charge. However, moving it to adult court is a step in the right direction.

    Kid is beyond stupid but for these switches to be able to just be flipped just like that is absurd. He shouldn’t have ever had the opportunity, I know what I’m doing if I ever go homeless.

    Send him straight to prison for attempted murder. Could have killed hundreds of innocent people including the train operator.

    There is no evidence of the kid flipping any switch, he is only suspected of doing it because him setting his camera up before the train arrived is seen as suspicious. The thing is train spotters set their cameras up in all sorts of places, this could just be a coincidence.
