Jack! You better not leave us like this again! I’ve been in limbo for a month!
  • @kings3803
That's proper custom work. People don't realise how long things like this take but when the car is finished these touches will make it look so good and most people won't quite realise why.
  • @FreshManny
Ignore the haters, I’m here to learn about the small details. I’ve seen enough people complete a car in 20 minutes…I wind up learning nothing. From this episode, I’ve learned a lot.

There is a british racing green M12 GTO-3R thats lived near me for about 20 years now, always catches my eye everytime I see it.
  • Happy see this long awaited video, Jack! I think you needed some time to get things right. I know you put in a lot of work and time. You're great at what you do and I believe we'll have a happy ending in this build
  • @S0time
Not so spectacular progress, but this small details will rise this build above anything else! Good job Jack'!

The attention to detail is spot on. The door handles are very sharp. Can’t wait to see the next episode Thank you Jack. 😎😎😎👍👍👍
  • @abultado
If you need another flush handle, that will not need to be cut out like the GTR ones. Go to kindig customs, he has created the flush handle before the GTR R35 came out. Those had been used in custom builds and always fit small areas
  • @leefowley4033
That cheer when you realised the door handle worked that was worth watching the video alone great video again.

Love it when the jack builds it notification comes up. ❤

Personally, I would have "glassed in" an oversized piece of aluminum mesh to the inside of the door skin for structure and rigidity... And, I would suggest that you add a thin rubber strip between the frame and the carbon fiber panels to minimize rattles!

When doing a proper restoration with custom work, the smallest component can take a lot of time to get it perfect. I'm 53 with progressive MS that is causing muscle wasting on my entire left side, so I got a 1954 m38a1 24 volt jeep willys to restore. I was told that i needed to try and stay as active as i can to stay out of a wheelchair. I try to do most of the wrenching with hand tool's to work my muscles, and it gets rough at time's, because i have lost most of the feeling in my hand, and my dexterity is not so good. I have a tendency to try and get thing's perfect to, but thankfully i do love working on car's, which is okay if it takes me longer to get thing's done. You are very good at doing all this detail work, and it helps keep me going watching someone else who is detail oriented, and putting in a lot of hour's to get thing's done right. I've been waiting awhile to see how this build is progressing, so thanks for getting this out. G-d bless.

I gotta say the organization of your videos is actually really high quality referencing old videos chronologically and all that. Truly amazing content through and through.

Jack, this was an epic episode. I love the split screen for the car vertical ad and timelapse. I watched the whole way through. Make sure your sponsors see this comment! Also love the door handle fab. You're a body guy and it shows. Work carefully, be good to yourself and it will get done. 😎

Nice touch, i like the gtr handles. My only concern is that the glass fibre has been bonded to paint, and i wouldve used a woven sheet, maybe 90gsm as a finish ply. Also, love that hex weave carbon, makes a change from seeing 2x2 or 3x1 twill all over the place.
