As a foot doctor I look at running shoes and running shoe technology a bit differently as I focus more on what foot types benefit from these shoes as well as the running shoe's functional attributes on the road and trail

Some of the main areas we cover in this basketball shoe shoe playtest, and performance review of the Nike Alphafly 3

- The weight, durability, fit and playability
- What are the features of the insole, midsole, and outsole
- Nike running shoe technology explained

I am a 3E and these fit me fine. Insane shoes. 8 minute PR on my first marathon back from injury. I will be buying these up every time my size in stock!
  • @brianbanks3044

Great review, I’m wondering whether you will do a review and comparison for the recent Hoka super shoe like the Cielo X1?
  • @hahaheslop
Would love to see one of these videos for the Asics Metaspeed Paris. 🤞

Ohhh finally!!! Been wanting to see this cut in half haha
  • @felixmilot990
Doc you need to review the wave rebellion pro 2 from mizuno! It would be super interesting to see this shoe cut in half!
  • @Anza_34832
Very well done, thorough review and sound recommendations!

Bought the Vaporfly because I couldn't find these in stock. First run set a PR and never felt like I was trying. So comfortable too! Sure enough, checked Nike site today out of curiosity and the Alphafly was back in stock. Immediately order them. I'm curious to try them back to back. I'll be rotating these two. I'm a heavy runner and not fast, but I really enjoy running in the vaporfly compared to all my daily trainers. They felt like I got a horsepower boost.

As a fat dude who can actually jog…this are the best shoes, they are very easy in my ankles and knees, I have flat feet so I thought they weren’t going to fit me properly but nope I was wrong. My only complaint has to be that they stained too easy
  • @rrohan5134
could you talk about high tops vs low tops and why Anthony Edwards switched shoes mid-game
  • @BroccLeeAV
So glad Nike are making wider comfier shoes. The Vaporfly 2 were killing my feet and there was no way I was going back to such a narrow shoe. Alphafly Next % was better but I'm excited for the Alphafly 3. If they're as nice on every level people say they are I'll probably get 3 pairs.
  • @mfcc1084
Yes. The fit of this one is the standout feature of this version. I'm a US 10 in this one as compared to the 2nd version where I am a US 11. Snug and comfortable for me.
  • @edwardlewis1863
Doc could we please get a video on the new Air Max DM would be nice to hear your opinions on the new tech to this Og style shoe futuristic type look. Thx
  • Hi doc! I recently came across your short about tips to stop heel slippage. Would there happen to be any hacks to stopping toe jamming? My doubles partner has had some problems with black dead toe nails 🤢. I told her I knew just the guy to ask! Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
  • @shyrahman4506
I have the AF1, AF2 & I finally got hold of these AF3 I did go and do a 19 km run in them the other day to break them in
  • @scottla1113
Thanks for the review! It was exciting to see an AF3 cut in half. Please cut the Saucony Endorphin Pro 4!
