I Watched ALL of the Pokemon Advanced Series - Is It Any Good!? Anipoke Review

I hope that Ash(has Primeape), Morrison(has Girafarig) and Alain(has Bisharp) appear in the Pokémon Horizons since they have a Pokémon with a Gen 9 evolution.

YESSIR! Hoenn content in 2024 just proves I'm living in the best timeline! Banger video, Lumi. AG suffers from being the middle child between the iconic/nostalgic OS and the infamous DP. But it truly gave us the fundamentals that all other Pokémon series would follow format wise.

I watched the older generations while XY was out, since my nephew was really into it, and I started to enjoy the anime while babysitting. I never found Max to be as annoying as everyone says. Siblings are annoying, and this is the first time we saw the sibling dynamic in the group, not just an episode here or there with Misty and her sisters. He also grew from booksmart about pokemon to having hands on experience with care, grooming, and training pokemon. Morrison- I felt like if he would have completely thrown in the towel in the tournament, Ash would have stopped being his friend. Maybe that could have been interesting storyline if it happened earlier in the region; losing a friend then gaining him back. Yeah, Ash wants to win, and he wants his friends to win, too. Harley- as a character, he's good and pushes May to grow as a coordinator; as a person, I'd hate to know someone like this. Definitely a top rival.

Just wait until you see one of Dawn’s rivals. She gives Harley vibes in a way. You’ll kinda see it when you get there.

Yes and No, my opinion is it start from the Battle Frontier Ark and ends in the to final Episode from DP, that is Peak Pkmn Anime

I actually reviewed this series myself last year as well and this series is amazing! Absolutely love it! It’s not my fav as that title goes to DP, cuz that series is PEAK! But I really do enjoy AG. It’s really got so many things it uniquely does and of course it gave us one of the best seasons ever in Pokémon with one of the best themes - Battle Frontier! Really good continuation of Ash’s story!

Gen 3 was peak ngl. The games were great, the anime was great, the mons were great. This peak carried to Gen 4, and Gen 5 after it, and it was all downhill from there. Gen 6 wasn't terrible, but it was the beginning of the trek down the mountain, and SM was basically that trek reaching mach 8. Since then, I've been waiting for the games to return to peak, but they just keep getting farther and farther from it.

AG was so good that it was there formula for success of DP and XY The wasting of Nicholai and Guy as League rivals was disappointing At least could have had them as Ash's single and double battle opponents and still have the others for his full battles

Diamond and pearl was peak for me Paul was a great rival.

This comment is going to be long I’m just warning you since I have a lot to talk about the Pokémon anime and more that I probably didn’t mention or say since I’ve watched the anime for I think 24 years now. On the voice actor change, ash has three voice actors. veronica taylor is the first, Sarah is the third, and then there is a second actor who is also female. I forget her name. I grew up with Veronica Taylor and Sarah as ash’s voice actors. All of ash’s English voice actors are female. Ash was recasts twice for the voice after veronica taylor. I prefer the DP anime, x and y anime, parts of journeys and sun and moon. I have seen all of the Pokémon anime throughout besides sun and moon and journeys since I was on break during sun and moon and watched until sun and moon episode 10, 11, or 12 before I was 20 in 2017. I do know the Pokémon ash uses in alolan anime and in journeys dispite me being on break and not watching as much in 2017 to 2022 since I was in college and still am in college at the moment. I have also watched almost all of the Pokémon movies except for a few and I can count on one hand that I haven’t seen. You are in for a treat for the DP anime. Especially the gym battles in the DP anime, the contests, counter shield, of course Paul, ash’s pokemon in the DP anime, and the gen 4 movies which are some of my favorite movies. I believe the DP anime is very better than the AG anime. I have watched the Pokémon anime and the Pokémon movies when I was three in 2000 up until now with pokemon horizons as a 27 year old. If I had to rank the pokemon anime, it would be x and y, DP, sun and moon, AG, johto, Pokémon journeys, orange islands, and the indigo league. This is all excluding pokemon horizons since it’s still airing at this current moment but horizons when be up there like third or second before or after DP. How I got into pokemon was because of the Pokémon anime in 2000 because I didn’t know about the games yet. A year later in 2001, is when I would first play video games when I was four on the original grey gameboy and then on my blue gameboy advanced SP. I learned about the games with gen 4 with diamond in 2007. I remember the first time I heard and saw pokemon abilities was the gym battle with ash vs Norman. Since 2000, there have been many times and moments that I have been on the edge of my seat or I’m just sitting down on the floor just watching the anime. The Pokémon anime taught me my English, more of my colors even though I also learned my colors while in target with my mom either as a baby or a kid, and more all before I started school and during me still being in elementary, middle, and high school. Some of my favorite Pokémon movies were movie 3, movie 5, all of the gen 4 movies, movie 2, and a few other pokemon movies. I still say one of the worst characters in the anime would be Cameron in the black and white anime for many reasons. My bad for the long comment. I can’t talk about the Pokémon anime without typing a long comment since I’ve had a 24 years relationship with watching the Pokémon anime. Any special Pokémon spin-off anime, I have seen as a kid into a teen then as an adult. I like some ash’s pokemon in hoenn, like sceptile and swellow the regional bird in Hoenn that ash’s uses, an and ash’s ice hoenn ice type in Hoenn. I however dislike ash’s torkoal a lot. I believe the DP anime, and x and y are much better than AG for many reasons. The gym battles would be one of those reasons.
