How to cure toenail fungus has been the topic of many videos and blog posts. Almost all of these 'cures' only address part of the problem and include a product they're trying to sell you. In this video, I will address all the issues that lead to this condition, and give you strategies that will fix toenail fungus, and keep it gone forever.

Toenail fungus can be just a cosmetic problem, or be a sign of underlying metabolic or immune system issues, and can lead to serious medical problems. With these strategies, you can improve toenail fungus, and help to prevent many other related issues.

So many people suffer from toenail fungus and need these strategies shared with them because they just don't know they can fix it. Help me share these strategies so you never have to look at another fungus-ravaged toenail!

What is up with the doctors on YouTube being way better physicians than the doctors I have seen throughout the years?! Excellent advice as always.
  • Skip to 4:33 to actually get to the topic. 1.) Less sugar and carbs. 2.) Don't wear shoes when possible, be barefoot as much as possible. 3.) Exposure to the sun is hostile to foot fungus, 5 minutes per day of exposure. 4.) Apple cider vinegar soak once a month. 5.) Hygiene, use an old tooth brush to clean your toes in the shower. 6.) Keep nails trimmed, but not around the corners, no digging, straight cuts. 7.) blow dry toes with hair dryer after shower.

I lost half my toenail to fungus after I had covid and was run down. I had the fungus for years before that, but it had never been that bad. I used oil of oregano directly on the affected skin for a couple of weeks, once in the morning and then at night (I probably forgot a few times). This treatment completely eradicated the fungus, my toenail grew back normally over the winter and the fungus is permanently gone. I did not change my diet, did not get new socks, or anything. It worked for me and oil of oregano is found at most health food stores, or on Amazon. That said, the diet mentioned on this video is also a great idea for general health. Good luck! UPDATE: My toenail continues to be fungus free and completely healthy. Oil of Oregano is powerful stuff!
  • This is the only benefit I can see from social media, actual information from people who care. Independent news, and People like the Doctor here who cares about truth and honesty! Thank you very much sir!

I actually don’t think he talks too much, I think he does a lot of interesting explanation. 11 minutes is nothing compared to waiting half a day at the doctor’s office or watching useless YouTube videos which are much longer. Thank you Dr. Berry, I very much appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us 🙏👍

I've struggled with nail fungus for decades. I started applying pure vitamin E oil on my feet because they were so dry and I have diabetes and didn't want my feet to crack. After a few months or so, I noticed that my nails looked different. Upon further inspection, I figured out that it was basically gone. New nail growth with no cracks or flaking. Yay for natural healing!!
  • I had toenail fungus for years and varied everything. Finally found Vick Vaporub rubbed under the toenail and around the toenail every night cleared it up entirely in a few weeks!

This is the video that led me to the keto lifestyle 2 1/2 years ago. The toenail fungus cleared up, and there have been many other unexpected health benefits. Ending a decades-long struggle with depression and anxiety has to top the list. I sometimes wonder how different my life might have been if I had discovered keto years earlier. In any event, it has improved greatly since I did.
  • You are right Dr Berry, I’ve had toenail fungus for about 9yrs.using very expensive ointments to no avail, but the minute I stopped eating carbs, I got rid of my fungus completely.

Dr Berry is an example of a good family doctor.
  • @joelt4416
Probably the most HONEST medical advice I have seen about trying to get rid of toenail fungus
  • I am on 75 days carnivore diet, my toenails are almost returned to normal, there is a bit of yellow on tip. No sugar no carbs no junk
  • @florence290
Dr Berry was direct to the point. Unlike few Drs they make people watch and listen to a biography.
  • If you have elderly relatives, check their feet and toenails at least once per month! They tend to NOT take care of what they cannot either see or reach. Stop problems before they happen!!
  • I had a really bad fungus on one of my fingernails, tried everything ... Finally I put a few drops of tea tree oil on a Band-Aid wrapped that around that fingernail.... did this for about a week straight and, Presto! No more nail fungus for this girl!

I had toenail fungus for about 2 decades. I used the paint on varnish on and off and it seemed to kill the fungus but it came back. The final straw for me was the whole big toe nail peeling off as it was rotten underneath. I found an internet solution (I know, I know!) that I thought I would try and it killed my fungus off and 3 years later I am still clear without continuing the treatment. Here's my solution: 1. I used a Urea creme to soften the nail and I trimmed as much of the rotten nails as I could with scissors and even a box-cutter blade to trim off the top to expose as much garbage as I could. 2. I painted the affected nails with tea tree oil and applied a plaster / band-aid to the painted nail. Keep this on until the band-aid falls off. 3. After a shower, apply Oregano oil to the nails and then cover with the band-aid. 4. When the band-aid falls off, switch to a tea tree oil coating and repeat this switching until the nail grows out clean. You have to keep this up consistently until the nail becomes healthy but I finally removed my fungus after 2 decades of infection!
