For Edward, it seems like there was a mix of descriptions because his eyes definitely weren't blue-green as a vampire. I recall them being described as liquid gold but they turn black when he hasn't fed in a while. Maybe the blue-green was when he was human? In which case it makes sense. His skin is definitely pale though
  • Love how the challenge was to draw the "perfect" teenage boy and you drew yourself haha

For Edward, you were given the description for when he was a human. Once he was changed, his eyes were first red and then honey-colored as he began drinking animal blood. His features were also sharpened and his skin paled.
  • Your reaction to drawing Frankenstein’s Creature was hilariously similar to Frankenstein’s reaction to creating The Creature in the first place.

How about a new twist to this: let someone pick a celebrity and have them describe that person, then paint them following the description, show the picture to someone else again and let them guess who this is. Would love to see the results of that experiment!

"You can see where I'm going with this" No Jazza, we cannot 🙃
  • Knew Sherlock almost instantly. He was always described as 'gaunt and eager' which is just such an odd pairing so I always remembered it. Watson always described Holmes so beautifully as if he were an angel

So, when he got to Edward, I saw his sketch and I immediately thought of Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter. They are the same actor so I guess I got some points for that, but I realized how similar the descriptions of Edward and Cedric are. Cedric is 17 years old and has brown hair. It said that Edward was described as soft I think, and Cedric is also kinda soft. Idk, I just realized that both of those roles are played by the same actor and they have some physical similarities.
  • That’s interesting with the Frankenstein one. One thing they didn’t mention in the description they gave you (perhaps because it’s not said directly describing the monster) but Victor Frankenstein’s goal was to make an incredibly attractive person. Tall, long hair, bold features. So when the monster turned out horrific, it was in part the corrupted beauty (not just straight up hideousness) that made him particularly terrifying. Anyways, your monster was really neat! He wouldn’t have had a belly though, even being book accurate 😂
  • I was surprised I recognized Sherlock Holmes immediately from the description, since I've never read the books. Frankenstein's monster, while I never read that book either, makes more sense that I got it, because I've looked that up before. I thought Edward Cullen might by Percy Jackson, so it shows how much I didn't read either character's books.
  • I vaguely remember the book saying that Harry thought Umbridge looked like a toad, that would have been a very important thing to add to the description because the drawing you made of Umbridge is a little different to when I read the book. Still a amazing job they all looked great!!
  • Professor Umbridge was missing the tweed and it totally changed the era it felt like she was from. That lady looked more like a hobbit.
  • To be honest, I studied Frankenstein to much during my studies and I immediately recognized the description. It is like the better-known passage of the book, so I had it when you said "black lips". Mary Shelley you're an horror Queen.

That's going to be my new thing. Calling up random contacts, asking them an absurd question, saying "HA!!" and then hanging up without explanation.
  • As soon as I read black hair, grey eyes and wearing a cloth cap, I instantly knew it had to be Sherlock. Jazza guessing Count Olaf and Ebenezor Scrooge made me start doubting myself a bit lmao
  • @pratkier
Yeah I feel like for the movie they're like "they have to know he's a vampire. He should look vampirish " but the book is more like "he should believably be able to pass for a regular highschool student."
  • @millyboop2047
I've read Frankenstein recently for school, and I love how cursed your interpretation was the book description is way different from the pop culture, stitched together, with scars and neck bolts green zombie man. The monster's creator actually calls him beautiful
  • I am loving this series! It also makes me really curious how you would draw the Percy Jackson characters from their descriptions, so if you continue this series it would be really cool to see one (or more) of those.
  • @---7794
the first character really reminded me of the pigeon lady from home alone 2, the colour scheme is so similar too! I love the whole series, it's so creative and enjoyable to watch✨️
