Who knew a trip to Apple's brand new flagship Store in Shanghai's Jing'an district could lead to a funky park party? Join Gwiz (Gene Williams) on an unexpected trip! We'll check out the stores beautiful location - but that's not all!
The trip coincides with China's Tomb Sweeping Festival, and the vibe on the streets is electric. Can an American foreigner from Queens, NY in China add some funk to the traditional China mix? Will the locals be down with a cultural exchange through music?
Fusion Guitar legend, Scott Henderson makes a cameo appearance at JZ Jazz club while on his 'Karnevel' tour! Buckle up for some hilarious moments and a reminder that music truly is the 'universal language'.

I think they like you to join in, whatever it is. Whether it's music or dancing, everyone has fun, including the foreigners. I'd like to go to a park on weekends, better than cooped up inside the apartment. Enjoy your time there where it's peaceful.

Cool that you sat in. That dancing guy is awesome!
-
Everybody is on point! Such a natural ensemble.
-

I lived in Shanghai and remember that area. Near the Jingan Temple. Great place. :)

Speaking of funk, I have a facebook group called "Prince Fans In Asia" but it's pretty much a desert. I seen you play Purple Rain on the piano in London. Are we the only 2 Purple heads in all of Asia? 😂
-
You tried the Apple Vision Pro, was it a bit heavy?
-
It's the biggest Apple store in China, and second in the world, just after Fifth Avenue, actually doesn't look that big. While Apple is having trouble in China, mainly because US Gov aggressive blocking of tech cooperation, US business in general is blossoming in China, esp in Shanghai
-
I notice many people still have masks. I alike here in MD USA still wear one while at work (most of the time). 2 bouts with c-19 is enough for me. What's the general temperature there on such things these days?
-
Experience tells me that do not by the 1st generation of Apple products.😂
-
Strange that Apple phones are not banned in China after Huawei is banned in the US.

Most people don’t have experience performing in public and foreigners get plenty of attention as it is, so they probably won’t join you unless they are performers or exhibitionists.
