How will quantum computing change the world? Neil deGrasse Tyson and comedian Chuck Nice learn about the development of quantum computing and what it means for humanity with theoretical physicist Michio Kaku.

What will quantum computing do beyond regular computing? Find out about the race to create the first all-purpose quantum computer and Michio’s book, Quantum Supremacy: How the Quantum Computer Revolution Will Change Everything. Discover quantum bits and how quantum computing breaks from binary. How will we use quantum computers in astrophysics? We explore disaster scenarios and how quantum computing could help us predict coronal mass ejections.

Where is quantum computing currently? We discuss brain mapping and whether quantum computers could be used as transporters. Plus, learn what it's like to work in string theory and how Michio got his start. Would it be possible to create instant interstellar communication using quantum entanglement?

Learn how quantum entanglement works and why it would be hard to send a message faster than the speed of light. Could quantum computing solve infinity? What is spacetime foam? What forces cause the strings in string theory to vibrate? All that, plus, what comes AFTER quantum computing?

How soon do you think we'll have all-purpose quantum computers?
  • @JagexAnarchy
It feels like neil and chuck are students making jokes during class and Prof. Michio simply smiles. Very wholesome.
  • @FSAPOJake
Neil Tyson and Michio Kaku... The crossover we always want AND need!
  • @Dj3ndo
Love Michio Kaku! He is so interesting. I grew up with watching him on science shows on tv!

With changes in the economy leading to instability in the stock market, some individuals may face a decrease in their investments in an effort to benefit from the current market conditions, I am considering liquidating my $725k portfolio consisting of bonds and stocks. Someone else in the same situation? Please tell me in the comments!..

I'm a fan of Neil and Michio and could listen to them for hours. Highlight Episode 🤩

Watching Dr Tyson and Dr Kaku have a conversation is like watching Nicola Tesla and Albert Einstein at a lunch table.
  • @codysmith1056
Wow.... humbling to hear it put in Michio Kaku's perspective... being the lowest possible start of our universe basically, being the lowest vibrational spot and such...😵🤯🤔

46 minutes went by faster than the speed of light, what a treat Michio and Neil.
  • 29:50 0️⃣ don’t talks to 1️⃣ this made me laugh so much, what an awesome show this is, it’s my 1st time here,- but not the last! You guys are hilarious, & isn’t it awesome how every time at least I laugh, without expecting to get such a great laugh,- I feel it in every fiber in my body how much I was in need of laughter, so my very heartfelt thanks to you all! But… I began writing this comment with another purpose, it was something in regards to what physicist Michio Kaku said, & I remember it was the moment right before he stated “0️⃣ & 1️⃣ doesn’t talk” — I began this comment with that, & as I’ve composed this comment I’ve successfully managed to completely forgot my own point/pun,- t doesn’t get much better than this! 😂😂😅 (English isn’t my first language,- & I apologize in advance for misspellings/grammatical mistakes!) || Anyway, *If anyone here is able to figure out,- make sense of what my point/pun would be it would be absolutely priceless, (that’s actually an understatement, it would be fantastic and epic!) -for me! I’d be immensely happy😃 *so allow me to continue to embarrass myself a little bit further just so I can add what I actually intended to write,,which was: 👉 ”Don’t get me tangled up” 🎶⚛️ // please feel free to help me figure out my point/“pun”. Many thanks in advance 🙏 Respectfully,
  • It is a real treat when the two most popular scientists in the world get together for a YouTube show.

You need to do this again and more times about other subjects, best crossover in history! 46 minutes is a very short time, it should be at least 1 to 2 hours talk.
  • @Lulu-kt6gr
Michio Kaku is brilliant and so likeable as well.
  • @STAG162
I'm a simple being - I see Michio Kaku, I click. The depth of knowledge and understanding is very hard to leave anyone disappointed.
  • Michio reporting in from his bedroom means this podcast will be spicy lol
