I'd known about this car for a couple years and finally reached out to the owner to see if it was available. After getting it home we found a real surprise to the past life of the car! As always, thanks for watching!

  • I I liked how you were able to identify the owner and the back history of it while it was still a car. Your braver than me bringing in the hunk of rust.
  • @stucook8622
Thanks for the Saturday matinee! Nothin better than some sammich's and an adventure. Thanks to all involved 🐾🍺
  • @joethepirate1
The history lesson on this was awesome! Thanks to that guy for reaching out!
  • Ya know, it looks pretty rough now but…. With the story line from the fellow that reached out to you. As you say, how neat is that! A person has to wonder about the memories that surround the bent up rusty old Mustang! Thank You and Duff, for dragging out of the trees!
  • @puddleduckist
The history is always the coolest part! Nice Mortske!!!!
  • @dombutler7685
Thanks Mortske, no tree is gonna stand a chance now that you've got the Poulan Wild Thing!! Hot garbage is such a good description of this Mustang, still got a couple of useful/sellable parts, awesome that someone recognized it!
  • @iHap
Thank you Mort & Duff Dog! Get a kick watching ‘high-speed’ Duff during the fast advance sections; also watching him run in all the green grass and tree back ground scenes. Mortske Manor is Duff Dogs Disneyland!

The rear side windows and the cranks - if they work the cranks are worth something. I seem to remember those little back windows were prone to coming off the tracks. The trim in areas still looks good. I had a '67 notchback that got rear-ended two days after I bought it used. Drove it around for a couple more weeks with the gas tank sticking up vertically.
  • Coolest part about this video was seeing the car whole in the old photos, and the story.

You’ll have that up and running before Christmas! No telling which year, but you’ll be done by Christmas for sure!
  • @recycler.
What's that you're wearing? Oh, that's my summer cologne, deep woods off. Good enough for the girls we go with. 😄👍🏼
  • @defrag220

I think, the 6 cylinder Mustangs were 4 bolt wheels and the V8's had 5 bolt wheels. My Dad retired in 1979 after working for International Paper for almost 20 years. Half that time he was farming also.
