Film Theory: Who ACTUALLY Won Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Having been in the audience of a few episodes, I'm honored to technically be in the running

"For an episode nobody on the internet would care about or click on" Matt, this is the video I have been waiting for for almost a decade

I can't think of a duo more iconic than Ryan and Colin. Those two together can bring a house down from the sheer force of laughter. Whose Line has always been a fond memory for me.

I didn't expect "everything was made up, but it did matter" to bring actual tears to my eyes, but here I am blubbering away. Never realized this show meant that much to me.

the fact that Drew made Ryan not win more episodes just so he could play with his friend at the end of the show is really wholesome

I love how MatPat is just doing whatever he wants for the final episodes. So cathartic!

I went to the final taping of Whose Line on 2/1/2023 and two other tapings before that. I snuck some video recordings and pictures during the final taping knowing it'd be the last time, so I can keep it as a memory forever. In case you're wondering, the final taping covered S20 episodes 11, 12, and 21 with Brady, Magnum, Mochrie, Stiles. I also had a suggestion that was performed with Kaila Mullady but it seems it got edited out in the episode but I can clearly see myself in the audience in the three episodes!

That idea of passing the torch is wonderfully happening in a lot of ways, such as shows on Dropout which carry on the themes and have even included Wayne as a guest. (If you haven't seen it, he was on an episode of Make Some Noise creating songs that definitely wouldn't have made it past tv censors, it's outstanding)

The "Marioplex" being brought back gave me such a rush of nostalgia. My mouth was wide open, and I was grinning ear to ear because of my excitement. Thank you so much for all the memories Mat; you've truly made the world a better place, and I wish you the best for your retirement. You've changed my life by providing me with so many years of entertainment, and I know I'm not alone on that. Bless you Mat, much love.

My family used to watch this show every Thursday night growing up. A couple years ago when I was stuck at home with a significant health problem for 5 weeks, I found Whose Line again on HBO Max and it helped me through a difficult and depressing time. Greg Proops was my favorite by far but I loved Colin and Ryan's synergy. Thank you for finally tallying all those points for me. I spent many a bored summer afternoon watching countless episodes of this.

I worked with Kathy and Colin on a sitcom up in Canada. They're both wonderful people! I also made Colin laugh a couple times, which was the best feeling!
