ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot.

  • Scariest part about Tate is that he can sing down in my register, and I'm a true bass (Rebecca can confirm)

Tate’s daughter graduated with mine in 2015. Saw him after the ceremony just hanging about outside. Nobody made a fuss. We lived in the same small town outside of Seattle, used to see him at the local pub and grocery every so often. One of the greatest vocalists in rock history just hanging like a regular dude.

I love her reaction "goodness gracious what was that?!?!?!" ......every queensryche fan...."yea he does that sometimes" lol!
  • This band is criminally underrated. "Operation Mindcrime","Rage For Order" & "Empire" are all fantastic albums.

It's great to see others realize what us children of the 80s did: powerful vocals, awesome musicianship and theatrics that are mostly lost in today's music.
  • @jasonkadlec3929
There's a reason this song doesn't get covered. 1. No reason to mess with perfection. 2. You can't, so don't try.
  • @chevychiss
Operation Mindcrime is one of the greatest albums ever made
  • @MultiHarrycat
Tate was the absolute best live vocalist in the 80's. They literally sound the same live as on the album. Few bands can pull that off. Super tight band. The first 4 albums were incredible.
  • In his prime, Geoff Tate was one of THE premiere metal vocalists! Good choice!

I like this chick. It's fun watching her discover and be impressed by something us metal fans have always known.
  • @MrBruinman86
What impresses me most about this performance is that it's live. That's some serious skill and discipline.

When he hit that first high bit and Rebecca had to rewind the video, I just crossed my arms and smiled then said "Oh that was nothing, you just wait." I adore his voice, anything off the first three albums can't be missed. Fantastic in the 90s. My very first concert and I knew two whole songs, it was still amazing.

Geoff Tate is one of my favourite metal singers. Operation mindcrime is one of the best albums of all time!

I saw these guys supporting Ronnie James Dio in Liverpool (Last in Line tour) just after they released their first album The Warning. They were totally un heard of at this point. Never in my life have I seen a support act take an audience by storm like these guys did. This song in particular left the theatre gasping - everyone looking at each other saying WTF was that! These guys were the full package and Geoff Tate's voice in full flow is something that you will never forget.

That moment when you covered your face because Geoff Tate just blew you away... Priceless! loved it
  • @BTArnold100
Hits E5 like damn truck. Seriously, why did this band not get more love?
