My favorite part of Walt’s story is how he adopts the characteristics of all of the people who he’s killed/defeated in order to empower himself.
  • For me, the truly calm under pressure is shown in Mike Ehrmantraut character. He's the real badass.
  • Walter White has the best transformation ever, it's like the actor was born for the part

Recap: 1) Body Language: Eye Contact, Straight Shoulders and Chest Out. 2) Slow Speech. Keep tension between the key parts of the speech and the rest. 3) Memento Mori. Live life fully. 4) Be irreplaceable.

4:44 he hasn't lost confidence, he actually is putting on an act to put his plain into fruition. only a few seconds later he is very confident and is in control of what is happening.

Now you guys have to do an analysis of Saul Goodman! There are so many things about Saul's people skills that make him charismatic and it would be awesome to get more depth on how he does it! :D
  • I never watched this show, but I did learn some things about commanding respect and confidence from my Dad. He wasn't the biggest man around, but when he was around nobody had more attention and respect than him. His air of confidence made his 6 foot stature seem like he was 10 feet tall and bulletproof. He's gone now but far from forgotten. Dad will always be my hero and model for what a man should be.
  • The key in most of these clips is Walt is perfectly willing to go where his adversaries are afraid to tread. What they fear most means nothing to him.
  • I was diagnosed with terminal cancer 6 years ago and it made me much less afraid in general, like the fictional Walter White.

3:55 - you don’t know how bad I needed to hear that, man. It’s been a tough week. Thank you for your content always!

not only does talking slower make you seem more confident, it gives you more time to think about what your going to say next
  • Please do one in Gustavo Fring. His emotional composure and ability, to play on people's ego and person interests is unparalleled. It's scary watching him because you cannot predict how he will respond. At any point

I just drove past Walter White's house today, and ate at Los Pollos Hermanos. Perfect timing for this.
