GOD'S CARE FOR THE POOR. DAVID REJECTS THE BETRAYAL OF HIS ENEMIES AND SEEKS GOD'S HELP
PSALM OF DAVID FOR THE CONTOR-MMOR
41. Blessed is he who cares for the poor, the Lord will deliver him in the day of evil.
2- The Lord will deliver him and keep him alive, he will be blessed on earth, and you will not hand him over to the will of his enemies.
3- The Lord will support you on your sick bed; you renew your bed in illness.
4- I said; Lord, have mercy on me, heal my soul, because I have sinned against you.
5- My enemies speak evil of me, saying: When will he die, and his name perish?
6- And if one of them comes to see me, says empty things, accumulates evil in his heart and leaves, that's what they talk about.
7- Everyone who bothers me together murmurs against me, behind me they imagine evil, saying:
8-- A serious illness caught him; he will lie down, he will not rise again.
9- Even my close friend, in whom I trusted so much, who ate my bread, lifted up his heel against me.
10- But you, Lord, have mercy on me and raise me up so that I can repay you.
11- By this I know that you favor me; May my enemy not triumph over me.
12- As for me, you sustain me in my sincerity and place me before your face forever.
13- Blessed be the Lord, God of Israel, from age to age! Amen and Amen!
Note: Here I asked the brothers to open their Bibles to the gospel of John 9, chapter nine and accompany me in reading the word, where the Lord Jesus Christ performs a miraculous cure for a man born blind. After Jesus sent the blind man to the pool of Siloam and the healing occurred, everyone known to the once blind man who now sees witnessed the change in his life.
