Today was the funeral of my friend Thomas. He was the biggest Metallica Fan i know.He saw them live 20 times and had Tickets already for the upcoming show in June in Austria. God bless Cliff Burton and my friend Tom.❤❤❤

Orion is the eternal metal jam. It fades in, and it fades out. The 8 minutes we get to hear is just the moments orion passed by earth, before forever playing on through the universe, leaving us with only 8 minutes, but that’s all we needed

To think that these guys were just barely out of their teenage years when they created this music is absolutely mind blowing!!!
-
37 years without Cliff, rest in peace, legend of bass and metal
-
No words to describe "Orion". It's one of my favorites. Orion isn't a song, it's a feeling

I was listening to this at a gas station in Baltimore, and a gentleman with a Russian accident who was also pumping gas came up to me an said "Master of Puppes - Orion" I said hell yeah bro, he went on to tell me that in the USSR when he was a child that American rock and role was illegal and having it in your possession could land you in prison. But nothing could stop him and his friends from listening to this album, to them it was the sound of freedom, ROCK ON!!

I’m gonna try to sing this song at a karaoke bar
-
Smoking a joint looking at the stars at dawn and listening to Orion, that's where I find myself.
-
R.I.P. Cliff Burton, a musical genius who got taken away from us way too early
-
Its a masterpiece thats all..
-
Ahhhh the first Metallica I ever heard aged 13... Now 47 and still listening.
-
Imagine if all the deceased metal musicians came back from the dead and started a super group...my vote, Dime, Dio, Scott Bonham, Cliff Burton and Randy Rhoades.
-
I always imagine listening to Metallica as if it's getting me ready to war. Gets the blood pumping too much.
-
Cliff’s bass riff at 1:42 has to be one of the best things I’ve ever heard
-
Orion and The Call of Ktulu changed the way I listen to music when I was a kid. Made me a different person.
-
WHY IS THIS METAL SONG SO HEAVENLY?
-
I don't think I would ever be as musically inclined as I am without metal. This is one of the many songs that started my drive for bass. What a masterpiece. \m/

song saved me time and time again...had the same impact at 15, 25, 35, 45 and now 55...
